ಕಳೆದ 2 ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ದ.ಕೊಡಗಿನ ಚೂರಿಕಾಡು ಬಳಿ ಇಬ್ಬರನ್ನು ಬಲಿ ಪಡೆದಿದ್ದ 12 ವರ್ಷ ಪ್ರಾಯದ ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಹುಲಿಯನ್ನು ಸೆರೆ ಹಿಡಿಯುವಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಣ್ಯ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. 5 ಸಾಕಾನೆಗಳ ಸಹಕಾರದಿಂದ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಅರವಳಿಕೆ ಚುಚ್ಚು ಮದ್ದನ್ನು ಹುಲಿಗೆ ನೀಡಿ ಇದೀಗ ಮೈಸೂರಿನ ಕೂರ್ಗಳ್ಳಿ ಹುಲಿ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಗಿಸಿದೆ.

Karnataka: 2 persons had to drive back from Madikeri to Kodagu to collect waste they threw in open.

Madetira Thimmaiah (pic 3), General Secy,Kodagu Tourism Association says,"I found their number on a bill inside pizza box & called them, but they didn't give a positive response."

One more incident of dumping the garage on the road, which is a regular activity now. This is the kind of mind set our people come with, they want to keep their car clean but not their country.
