A silver body with a human face walks the stand, leans on the hood, lifts a metal hand to her chin like a model that never blinks.

Soft face.

Steel chest.

Wires where a pulse should sit.

They film her, not the price.

This is not a factory bot.

This is a host that does not tire, does not take commission, does not leave at 6.

Shows used to hire a person to stand and smile.

Now they park a machine that looks close enough and let the crowd finish the job.

The next question is not how she walks.

It is who still pays a human for the same pose.
