DAY 12 of #PlasticFreeJuly and today we're excited to share the chat we had with Emma Eberlein of the Potbuoys Gallery on St Agnes.

Oops - looks like we missed sharing day 7's haiku due to a technical hit*h, so today there's a bonus with two! Inspiring you (nearly) everyday to be a little more #plasticconscious Many thanks to Claire Cox for this piece of #plasticfreepoetry#plasticfree#zerowaste
Circularity...how could you think of waste as food for something new...like using old coffee grounds for a face scrub, or to grow mushrooms, or to make packaging.... The possibilities are endless.

On day 6 of #PlasticFreeJuly we're pleased to report that there's success in the supermarkets...! The loose vege baskets are pretty much empty, whereas the stuff wrapped in plastic, well, it's still there. Well done everyone!

Aaand...we made it to the weekend! Let's all rest-up (and get some beauty sleep) like this freshwater-loving Saimaa ringed seal! #ProtectWater#ProtectWildlife#weekendvibes
#Bioplastics - are they just a load of rubbish? π€· Get the low down on the 'biodegradable', 'plant-based', 'environmentally-friendly' plastic alternative: https://t.co/xRIj4IpIiD
The crew has conducted the first two tow tests and they are now testing the parachute sea anchor, all aimed at slowing down the system. Data is being processed by HQ, but the tests are running smoothly and the weather has been favorable. We'll update after the campaign concludes.
Stacked together, the number of plastic bottles tops collected from our beach and seafront over eight months would reach 2.5 times higher than the i360!
Please don't leave rubbish on our beach. Take it with you and find a bin, or take it home.

Day 5. #plasticfreejuly
Heading out for takeaway curry tonight and wondering what to do about the containers? π±
Easy! Take your own and ask them to fill them. We did! Our local takeaway @RivaazLymington was happy to oblige and they do the most amazing food!

Day 5 #plasticfreejuly
Can this go in this bin or this bin? Sounds familiar? What are we all to do?
Clearer and consistent labelling across the UK would make this easier for all of us.
Want to do more...? Tell your local MP it's not good enough!
