Final improvements are planned on 71st Street under I-465 and the bridges overhead. As a result, E 71st Street and the trail are scheduled to close on or after Monday, June 1.

Clear Path 465 is reaching a major milestone, with the end of construction on mainline I-465 in sight.

An upcoming traffic shift will open three lanes in each direction on I-465 and allow for final touches. When those are complete, I-465 will open to four through lanes.

This week, crews poured part of the deck for the new northbound I-69 bridge over 82nd Street. This is the 14th and final new bridge on the project.

The final deck pour is expected next week.

Traffic Alert: Crews are repairing a barrier wall between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 7.

Drivers can expect a lane closure on both northbound I-465 and the ramp from northbound I-465 to northbound I-69 while the repairs are made.
