Well butter my biscuits and call me a turtle head, if it ain’t Governor Newsom over there puttin’ on a comedy show about “dictatorship” while California’s still leadin’ the nation in homelessness after droppin’ over $24 billion on it, holdin’ the highest poverty rate when you factor in the cost of livin’, and pourin’ tens of billions into that high-speed rail to nowhere that still ain’t got a single mile of actual high-speed track after all these years.
Boy can paint a problem prettier than a Sunday sermon, but fixin’ one? That’s a load he can’t haul.

Well, butter my biscuits and call me Gere’s gerbil if that ain’t Richard Gere yappin’ pure nonsense about USAID bein’ some holy giveaway to the needy!
Son, that outfit was busy funnin’ around with hard-earned taxpayer dollars on all kinds of agenda-pushin’ hogwash instead of helpin’ folks who actually needed it.
We’re talkin’ $1.5 million for pushin’ DEI in Serbia’s workplaces, $2 million for sex changes and LGBT activism in Guatemala, and plenty more slushin’ into climate grifts, electric vehicles overseas, and programs that somehow looped cash to corrupt NGOs. Some of it even ended up helpin’ bad actors or fertilizin’ poppy fields that lined the Taliban’s pockets.
The real needy? They got the scraps while the gravy train rolled for the agenda crowd and the pocket-fillers.
Trump slammed the brakes on that circus day one — and good on him. Ol’ Gere oughta know better than to stick his head where the sun don’t shine….kinda like gerbils, too, Hoss.

Well now, Senator Bernie, this here’s Cledus Snowman Snow talkin’ to ya on the ol’ CB, good buddy. Ya been haulin’ that Senate freight for near thirty years, boy, and ya helped ram that Obamacare mess right down our throats like it was the greatest thing since sliced bread and Coors beer. ‘Step forward,’ ya said. Step forward my ass — premiums shot up higher’n a Georgia pine on fire, deductibles big enough to bankrupt a man ‘fore he even sees the doctor, and a whole convoy of regular folks got priced clean out of healthcare. Ya took credit for ‘expanding coverage’ while the actual cost of gettin’ sick went through the damn roof. Made things worse for millions, plain as day.
And now here ya come, squawkin’ about Sergey Brin sittin’ on his billions and not wantin’ to hand more over for some California wealth tax, claimin’ he could save healthcare for three million people. Reckon one rich fella’s wallet’s gonna fix what decades of your big-government fix done busted? That’s the real moral obscenity, Senator — a career politician who helped build the wreck pointin’ fingers at the truck in front of him instead of admittin’ his own load jackknifed the whole damn road.
Why don’t ya lead by example, sell them houses and stocks, and show us how it’s done? Or better yet, quit blamin’ the rich boys and own the fact that your side’s ‘fix’ turned healthcare into a bigger headache than haulin’ nitro through a minefield. We got us a convoy of problems here, and your finger-pointin’ ain’t clearin’ the road none.
10-4, over and out, ya old coot!

Well butter my biscuits and call me Snowman! That good ol' boy Caleb just hauled the truth down the highway like a 10-ton load of whoop-ass!
This turquoise-haired socialist gal's out here claimin' folks need three jobs just to eat grits, then guesses THIRTY PERCENT are scrapin' by on federal minimum wage?
Hot damn, darlin', I'm amazed! You debate on facts the way my rig debates speed limits—barely touchin' 'em!
Less than ONE percent, sugar. ONE.
Now that's what I call runnin' on empty. Keep on truckin', Caleb—you're haulin' the real load while she's spinnin' her wheels in a cloud of hot air! 😂

Well, butter my biscuits and call me a hammerhead, Gustavo... If ain't nobody got a constitutional right to double-digit returns on their investment, then I reckon you just told every good ol' boy buildin' houses, drivin' 18-wheelers, or haulin' freight that the Man can just slap a cap on what they earn while the rent stays sky-high and the taxes keep eatin' 'em alive like a swarm of Georgia mosquitoes.
Boy, that 12% ain't some magic jackpot — that's what's left after the city hall boys done took their cut, the roof's leakin', the tenants done tore up the place, and the regulators are swarmin' thicker than flies on a gut wagon. You cap that return any lower and watch what happens: ain't nobody buildin' nothin' new, ain't nobody fixin' the old, and pretty soon you got yourself a fine socialist shortage — long waitin' lists, fallin'-down buildings, and everybody livin' like they's in one of them government projects where the paint peels faster than a Bandit run from Smokey.
Now me and the Bandit, we move eastbound and down, loaded up and truckin'... but we do it 'cause there's money at the other end. Take away the profit and you take away the reason anybody hauls the load in the first place. Your fancy DSA talk sounds real pretty on TV, son, but out here in the real world it just leaves folks with empty pockets, empty buildings, and a whole lotta hot air.
Martha looked at you like you just grew a second head, and she was right. What in the Sam Hill are you talkin' about? This here's America, good buddy — property rights ain't optional, and neither's the incentive to keep a roof over people's heads. Now if you'll excuse me, I got a load to deliver before some socialist decides truckers ain't allowed more than single-digit miles per gallon neither. 10-4, good buddy... Snowman out.
Well now, Bernie, you ol’ slick-talkin’ good buddy, listen up here. You done gone and misread the whole dang manifest on that UnitedHealth deal and the ACA, and now you’re hollerin’ for us to double down on the same sorry load of central plannin’ that’s wrecked every haul it’s ever been on. The body counts and famines are bad enough, but son, the real damage is what it kills off slow — innovation, plain ol’ efficiency, and any hope the little guy can make a better life than his grandpappy.
See, without them price signals and a little profit to grease the wheels, them planners are drivin’ blindfolded down a twisty mountain road with no brakes and a load shiftin’ bad. The old Soviets could shoot a Sputnik into orbit and build all them tanks, but they couldn’t keep the shelves stocked with soap, shoes, or even toilet paper, good buddy. Folks stood in line for hours just for the basics while the big shots had their special stores. That’s what happens when you swap free tradin’ for a bunch of bureaucrats guessin’ at what folks need.
Then there’s Venezuela — used to be sittin’ prettier than a trucker with a full tank, no weigh stations, and a clear shot down I-75. Richest country down there per capita on account of all that oil. Roll out the socialism, nationalize everything, slap on price controls, and watch it all go to hell in a handbasket faster than a blown tire on a downhill grade. Hyperinflation turned their money into wallpaper quicker’n you could print it, shelves went empty of food and medicine, and millions of folks lit out for the border like they was runnin’ from a whole convoy of smokeys. Ate zoo animals and dug through garbage, Bernie. That ain’t theory — that’s what central plannin’ does to a country that oughta been haulin’ easy street.
Cuba’s another fine example. They crow about their healthcare like it’s the best rig on the road with fancy paint and chrome, but it’s all show and no engine. They ship doctors overseas by the thousands to bring in hard cash for the bosses while regular folks can’t even git basic meds without the black market. Them fancy stats got more footnotes than a long-haul logbook. Meanwhile, the real breakthroughs in medicine and tech? They come from places where folks got to keep what they earn and compete to do better, not some government committee sittin’ around scratchin’ their heads.
And don’t forget the other wreckage, good buddy. The environment took a beatin’ too — them Soviets rerouted rivers and turned the Aral Sea into a dusty, toxic mess bigger than any wreck you ever seen. Or that Lysenko foolishness they pushed in science ’cause it fit their politics, which helped starve even more folks. Everywhere they tried this setup, up went the walls — Berlin Wall to keep people from haulin’ ass outta there, ’cause nobody stays when they can vote with their feet.
The pattern’s clear as a straight stretch of highway at midnight: take away property rights and let prices do their job, pile all the power on the planners, and you git shortages, corruption, and things grindin’ to a halt. The 20th century ran this experiment every which way, and the ones with markets and folks keepin’ their rewards lifted billions outta poverty and cooked up the vaccines and farm tricks that actually saved lives. The command-and-control bunch? Queues, empty shelves, and folks scramblin’ to escape.
So when you say the fix for the mess your last intervention made is an even bigger one that’ll eat up half the federal budget, well, that dog just won’t hunt, Bernie. We seen the results from a century of test runs. It don’t just flop on the money side — it flops on makin’ life better, givin’ folks freedom, and even keepin’ ’em healthy long-term when new ideas stop comin’.
If you think this time the central planners got it all figured out, bless your heart, but the rest of us prefer the bumpy, imperfect road that actually gets the load delivered. Ten-four, good buddy. We got a long way to go and a short time to get there.
Snowman out.
@BskiMike22802@BernieSanders Unbelievable dissection of Socialism.
Mike - I have a GoFundMe setup in your honor. We will buy you the vowel for your last name that you’ve been missing all these years!
You got it twisted, G. Today, that idea is under attack by men and women who embody the tyranny we reject. No longer “for the people”, but “for themselves” filling their wallets off the backs of the hard working American people.
This country was not founded for the elected to fleece the citizens. That is exactly why the revolution commenced. So, let’s not repeat history. Get this shit under control.
@GavinNewsom How about a government reset? You don’t deserve one penny more from any American with all the waste and inefficiencies you ignore and act like you have your shit together.
