Katsina shuts PoS centres, bans petrol sales in jerrycans to curb banditry
The Katsina state government has ordered the closure of all point-of-sale (PoS) businesses and commercial phone charging centres in Matazu and Musawa LGAs as part of fresh measures to tackle banditry and kidnapping.
The state government also banned the sale, purchase, transportation and storage of petroleum products in jerrycans across the state, while restricting the use of motorcycles in both LGAs.
