One of the most terrifying attacks carried out by Israel,

where it completely destroyed the Mashteha Tower within a matter of seconds, as it is considered one of the largest and most beautiful towers in Gaza, and houses thousands of families living in it,

despite the thousands of tents that were located on every side of this tower, aircraft launched no less than 6 deadly missiles that resulted in thousands of lethal shrapnel fragments, which led to the destruction of thousands of tents that were the only shelter for the families.

ASIO Amendment Bill No. 2 has officially passed Parliament — 106 Ayes to 8 Noes.
This is no longer “temporary anti-terror legislation.”
It is now permanent law giving ASIO police-state style powers over every day Australian citizens.
What the bill actually does: Removes the sunset clause — these powers are now permanent

Gives ASIO the power to reject your chosen lawyer and severely restricts what your lawyer can do or say during questioning
Strips away your right to silence — you must answer their questions or face jail

This is not about catching terrorists anymore.
This is about giving an intelligence agency the power to secretly drag any Australian in for interrogation without suspecting you of any crime.
106 politicians just voted to hand ASIO these powers.
Only 8 had the courage to vote No.
Your right to remain silent?
Your right to proper legal defense?
Your right to know when the state is targeting you? Gone. Eroded. Normalised.
This is how freedoms die — not with a bang, but with a quiet division in Parliament House.

Queensland is one of the biggest producers of gas in the 🌏.

🇦🇺 farmers are now beholden to imported urea and all the supply chain risks that come with that, with our national food security ultimately at stake.

Farmers are expected to "host" the gas industry whether they like it or not, have their groundwater💦 diminished 🚱 and now can't source much needed fertiliser to grow their crops🌾

Aren't we just the lucky country to have such political wisdom in charge of making decisions that stand to impact multiple generations.

History you aren’t taught: The coup against Iran’s Prime Minister Mohammad Mossadegh by the CIA and MI6 in 1953

Mosaddegh had pursued nationalist policies and was widely-popular, having nationalised Iran’s oil to stop British exploitation of Iran’s natural resources. Winston Churchill considered Iranian oil to be Britain’s.

Contrary to the US’ and UK’s claims to promote democracy and freedom around the world, the US and UK backed The Shah of Iran Mohammad Reza Pahlavi to overthrow Mossadegh and return Iran to authoritarianism, while being a compliant leader that followed Washington’s and London’s orders.

After the coup, Iran’s oil was once again privatised and divided up among the UK, US, and some European countries through a new oil consortium in 1954. 40% of the shares went to the British oil company BP. 5 American oil companies had significant stakes in the consortium.

The dictatorship of Pahlavi, enforced by the ruthless SAVAK, for Western oil companies to steal Iran’s oil, triggered such anger among the Iranian population that it led to the revolution in 1979, which gave birth to the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The roots of the war on Iran today are the MI6’s and CIA’s attack on Iranian democracy in 1953…but the US and Israel claim to be perpetrating this destabilising and disastrous war to advance democracy and ‘freedom’.
