Adam Soliman is also a Research Associate at the Centre for Economic Performance at the London School of Economics. His research focuses on crime, urban, health, and education. He has published in The Journal of Law and Economics and the AEJ: Economic Policy.
Paulo's interests lie in the intersection of macro and labor economics, particularly on households' decisions concerning consumption, labor, and human capital. His dissertation looks permanent income and how consumption commitments shape consumption's response.
Joseph Pedtke's research interests include Macroeconomics, Labor Economics, and Human Capital. His current research looks at the implications of family structure, policy, and education prices on income inequality and mobility through their effects on human capital investments.
David Drukker joins the Department from Sam Houston State, and prior to that, he was the Director of Econometrics at Stata. During his 20 years at Stata, he worked on high-dimensional models, treatment effects, panel data, time-series data, cross-sectional data, and spatial data.
