no, he was doing just fine with this car until something changed on it and it stopped accepting the brake discs he used. since then, he had races where his brakes didn't work, then he was "forced" to switch and has to adapt to it now, making it so he lacks confidence in braking, which is super important for a driver. so no, it's not that he does better in an uncompetitive car. he did just fine in 2022, until they decided to develop in carlos' direction (and even then, charles did great).
@simscircuit GOOD like this is wild if the FIA felt that there was a mistake in the pit lane and over turned Gasly’s penalty they should have then looked at all other penalties as welll. And Merc should have BEEN looking at this for Russell like that is real wdc implications
But it’s ferrari in race conditions 🫤 so really I’m just hoping they cancel each other out and he ends up in p5 and the ferrari rain curse doesn’t supersede Lewis and ends up blowing up his engine
ok so thot here: do we think that he wanted shane to win bc then he could do whatever shane wanted (ie kissing) bc it was to reward shane but if ilya won he could only do what he had negotiated with himself he was allowed to do (ie no kissing, keeping it very impersonal, etc)
This scene drives me kookoo bananas the way Shane’s autistic ass never makes eye contact and the second he does Ilya can’t hold back and kisses him AHHHHHH FREE MEEEEEE
GR 💬 : [The front wing closing in two different stages] was not intential and it's not an advantage for sure. It's actually a problem, that we're trying to solve.
