My heart was a bit heavy last night thinking about all the folks that had electrical issues this past week in their homes. I’m grateful for all the workers that have been working 24/7 to restore some normalcy to many that had to suffer through last week. #SVEC. #DominionEnergy
For the past quarter-century, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Harrisonburg and Rockingham County has strived to ensure children in the Shenandoah Valley have a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment to call home after school. Thank you for all you do, and keep up the great work!
Thanks to all the women and men I salute as fellow veterans.
Today my Mrs. Virginia and I attended the Veteran’s Day recognition at Memorial Hall (former Harrisonburg High School).
Get a blizzard today and support the Children’s Miracle Network.
We supported this each year since I came to work in the courthouse. What we miss most is the late Abe Clymer making those deliveries.

Please join us in officially welcoming newly sworn Deputy Clerk Jeanelle Woods to the Circuit Court Clerk’s office. Jeanelle has been working part time in the Clerk’s office as a Scan Room Technician since last August. We are so happy to have her on full time with us!
Today in the office we celebrate the departure of two fantastic local students that have helped us improve access to court records.
Jennifer Taylor & Zack Noftsinger, part-time employees here at the Circuit Court, will be leaving us for bigger and better things!
Congratulations!
Congratulations and thank you for stepping up to serve the citizens of Grottoes Councilman Michael Betts. It was an honor for Clerk of Court Chaz Haywood to administer your oath of office.
Clerk of Court Chaz W. Haywood invites you to join us in remembering the reason we celebrate Independence Day:
Sunday July 4, 2021 at 12:30pm for the annual reading of the Declaration of Independence on the steps of the Courthouse
We are a day late, but want to say Happy Birthday to the Commonwealth of Virginia! The Year of the Commonwealth is recognized as beginning June 29, 1776.
