Double step punch in action💥 As you can see, we have a modified stripper because the standard stripper would crush the legs of the channel, but at the end of the video you can see there is no deformation to the legs🥳

Testing out a double step punch on our Piranha ironworker! The double step reduces the body diameter and adds length without weakening the punch. This is useful for punching angle, channel and I-beam. We manufactured the piece of angle with bolts to work as our stripper.

We’re punching 1/2” round holes in 2” x 2” x 1/4” angle with our Edwards 55 ton using a standard punch and an offset die. Watch until the end to see just how close these holes are to the other leg of the angle!

Depending on what machine you’re using & what size pipe you’re notching, we can possibly make you a set up like this! This is a dual pipe notch on our Amada Marvel Sahinler MSIW60D. One side notches 1-1/4” schedule 40 and the other side notches 1-1/2” schedule 40.

When I first saw this punch, I thought they were using the square as a guide to punch a round hole where there was currently a square hole. Boy was I wrong!🤦🏻‍♂️ This punch and die is used to build trailers & notching out this radius will allow for pipe to fit snug against the angle

Punching 3 holes at one time? Easy-peasy with this custom attachment for a new Piranha P-50! Our customer needed to punch three 1⁄4” holes 1-3⁄8” apart in 2” x 2” x 1⁄4” aluminum angle. Our team got to work and designed this triple punch & die attachment with a fixed stripper.

Piranha P-65 mandrel for 2-3/4” OD x .045” tube. We’re punching three 9/32” holes 90° apart. These will be used to create exhausts🏍

Our customer is shearing Unistrut all day, every day and wanted to use the Geka Hydracop 50 they had in the shop already. They sent in a sample of their Unistrut and our engineers got to work. Now our customer is saving time & money cutting the Unistrut on their Geka Hydracrop 50

Did you ever wonder how you’re supposed to line up the pipe notch cut at exactly 180°? We slowed this video down to a #slomo so you can easily see it. The lines that run along the edge of the cutting tool are to line up your pipe, how handy is that?!
