As a Yankees fan living outside of New York, I always looked forward to listening to John Sterling take the mic each day the Yankees took the field. Nobody did it better than he did. Grateful to have listened to one of the best to ever do it!

John Sterling received a ton of attention for his superb voice, his clever or goofy HR calls and his "Theeeeeee Yankees win" finishes. But, if you listened to him call a game, it was very apparent how deeply knowledgable he was about the game and how well he described the action
