The future of NDC will not be built by chance. It will be built through strong structures, active grassroots engagement, disciplined leadership, and a shared commitment to service.
For over a decade, Cde. Mathias Alagbo Kabila has dedicated himself to organizing, mobilizing, and strengthening the party from the grassroots. His journey has been defined by loyalty, sacrifice, and results.
As we look ahead, the task remains clear: build stronger structures, empower our people, reward commitment, and prepare the party for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
Mobilize. Empower. Transform.

Today, I launched the Students Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development (SEED) Programme at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA). SEED is designed to nurture a new generation of student entrepreneurs and reflects His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama’s commitment to addressing youth unemployment, one of Ghana’s most pressing challenges. SEED builds on the Adwumawura Programme.
Adwumawura attracted numerous applications when it opened, demonstrating the readiness of Ghana’s youth to innovate and take risks. This programme provides a platform to support students in transforming innovative ideas into sustainable enterprises.
SEED, led by the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP) under the leadership of Mr. Eric Adjei, and in partnership with the National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS), reflects Government’s commitment to empowering young people to take charge of their future.
I commend the Ministry of Education, the Minister for Youth Development and Empowerment, the Chief Executive Officer of the NEIP, their dedicated teams, and all stakeholders for their hard work and leadership. I also congratulate all the innovation hubs that will drive implementation across tertiary institutions. Congratulations to the first cohort of participants. I encourage you to seize this opportunity to contribute meaningfully to national development.
I'm excited to share that today, we officially distributed 900 laptops to various districts across our region as part of the One Million Coders programme.
These laptops, were sent from the Ministry of Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations under the leadership of Hon. Samuel Nartey George. The Ministry delivered the consignment to our Regional Co-ordinating Council earlier this week, and I'm happy to report that we have now passed them on directly to the districts.
This means thousands of our youth in our region can now receive hands-on training in coding, software development, data science, cybersecurity, and digital literacy.
To our young people, the laptops are coming to your district. Be ready. Learn. Build. Innovate.
Let's close the digital skills gap together.
Today, we celebrate the hardworking men and women whose dedication continues to build our communities and strengthen our nation.
Your commitment, resilience, and sacrifice do not go unnoticed. You are the backbone of our progress and the driving force behind our collective growth.
As we mark this Labour Day, I reaffirm my commitment to advocating for better opportunities, improved working conditions, and a brighter future for all.
Happy Labour Day! 🇬🇭

This weekend, remember that your journey is valid, your efforts matter, and your future is still being written.
Do not be discouraged by slow progress. Every step forward, no matter how small, is a victory. Rise above doubt, stay focused on your purpose, and let resilience guide your path.
Great things are built with consistency, courage, and belief.
Step into the new week stronger, wiser, and ready.
Earlier today, I engaged my Assembly Members on key issues affecting our communities. Together, we also assessed suitable locations for the 1M Coders Programme because empowering our youth with digital skills remains a priority.

Education remains one of my greatest priorities for the people of North Dayi. Through the Quiz Pro Grand Finale, we continue to encourage our young students to embrace learning, discipline, and healthy academic competition.
I am proud to support this initiative that brings together brilliant young minds from schools across the constituency to showcase their knowledge and potential. Our future depends on the strength of the education we give our children today.
I commend all participating schools and wish the finalists the very best in the grand finale. Continue to study hard and believe in yourselves. The future of North Dayi is bright.

Earlier today, I joined the Rt. Hon. Speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, for the launch of the Political Inclusion and Consensus-Building Project by the African Centre for Parliamentary Affairs.
This initiative represents a forward-looking effort to strengthen unity within Parliament by encouraging constructive engagement across party lines, advancing issue-based collaboration, and creating greater space for the participation of women and young people in our democratic processes. It also aims to reduce political polarization and promote continuous dialogue beyond election periods.
Building a results-oriented Parliament requires deliberate efforts to work together in the interest of the people. Consensus-building must remain at the heart of our legislative work if we are to advance national development and strengthen public trust.
I am honoured to be part of this important initiative, which reflects our shared commitment to building a more inclusive, collaborative, and effective Parliament for Ghana.

My dear friends, let me tell you something.
Life will test your patience, your confidence, and your courage. There will be moments when the road becomes rough, when progress feels slow, and when doubt knocks at your door. But hear me clearly, those who win are not always the fastest or the strongest, but the ones who refuse to quit.
Every challenge you face is proof that your destiny is alive. Every setback is a signal that greatness is still in motion. Do not surrender your dreams because of temporary storms. Do not abandon your purpose because of pressure or fear.
Stand firm. Keep believing. Keep pushing. The world does not remember those who stopped halfway,it celebrates those who finished the race with resilience and faith.
In due time, everything you’ve fought for will make sense.
Do not quit. Your tomorrow still has promise.

On Friday, 30th January 2026, we shall commission the 4-Unit Nurses Quarters at Tsrukpe Dukuma . A project that aligns directly with our vision for a stronger, more equitable North Dayi.
Our students, trainees and young health professionals deserve decent accommodation and a conducive learning and working environment. This facility will support our nurses, improve healthcare delivery, and enhance teaching and training in the constituency. Development must be people-centered, and this project speaks to that belief.
I extend profound appreciation to H.E. @JDMahama for his unwavering commitment to human capital development, rural empowerment and progress in the health sector. North Dayi is grateful for intentional leadership.
Joining me for this commissioning event are:
• H.E. John Dramani Mahama — President of the Republic of Ghana
• Hon. James Gunu( @jamesgunu1 )— Volta Regional Minister
• Hon. Ernest Adevor — District Chief Executive, North Dayi
As Member of Parliament for North Dayi, I remain dedicated to improving educational opportunities, strengthening healthcare, and ensuring that our youth have the resources and support needed to excel. Good learning and teaching environments are essential for national development and this is only the beginning.
