Haha Davis story of him and his girl going “swinging” reminds me of when Kevin hart told a story about his friend big jay oakerson trying with his wife and then regretting it after 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
When politicians make back-room deals using public land, public money, and public power and those deals drive up your cost of living, they should have to answer for the damage.
Illinois families are tired of being squeezed by leaders who take, take, take, while regular people are left paying the bill.
I support development.
But government-enabled, celebrity-branded, publicly assisted market pressure is not the same as ordinary gentrification.
When the City helps create the conditions that raise assessments, spike property taxes, increase rents, and push longtime residents out, that is not just “the market.”
That is policy-driven displacement.
And when policy creates harm, policy must help repair it.
That is why I am fighting for a beneficiary-funded South Side Reparations and Stabilization Fund paid for by the Foundation, institutional partners, developers, investors, and others who benefited from this project.
Not ordinary taxpayers.
Not struggling residents.
The beneficiaries.
The people who carried these communities through decades of disinvestment should not be pushed out right before the benefits arrive.

The SouthSide Reparations Act will be funded by the same group that miraculously raised a billion for The OPC.
No taxpayer dollars will be used for this plan to repair damage to Southsiders.
This is a place based program, not a race based program. Damage knew no colors in this instance.
I’m here to fight for the people. They are my only concern. I see the plights of the people who have been yearning for help all across CD1.
They are being destroyed by selfish leaders who never consider the FIRST.
That ends with me. Elect me to FIGHT for you!
This is the first of my policy plans, dial in because the entire district is in dire need of help!

My gas tax plan is simple:
Repeal JB Pritzker's gas tax hikes.
Cut vehicle registration fees in half.
And spend road money on roads.
Fill potholes, not budget holes.
Jesse Mack Butler was 16 & 17 when he sexually assaulted and strangled two 16 year olds!
He faced 10 felony counts, including attempted rape, rape by instrumentation, forcible oral sodomy, sexual battery, and domestic assault and battery by strangulation. Investigators recovered video evidence from his phone, which showed one victim strangled to unconsciousness.
He was sentenced to out-patient counseling, community service, rehabilitation, and strict curfew supervision until he turns 19. He avoided serving any time behind bars, and the convictions could be erased from his record upon reaching 19!
Your home should not become a lifetime lease from the government.
Property taxes should be capped at 1% of the purchase price.
You own your home. The state doesn't.
Same state. Different justice.
2023: Alec Adamson (Prosper, TX) shoots & kills a Black student, leads police on car chase + foot pursuit.
Sentence: 4 years. Served: 2.
2025: Karmelo (Frisco, TX) gets jumped by white students, defends himself with a knife.
Sentence: 35 years.
Tell me this isn’t two-tiered justice.
Daniel Penny snuck up behind an innocent Black man who never touched anyone, and choked him to death while claiming self defense. This happened in New York that has some of the strictest self-defense laws and a duty to retreat. Penny was still acquitted & paraded around like a hero. Karmelo defended himself from a physical assault in Texas-a state with the most expansive Stand Your Ground laws, with NO duty to retreat. And he gets a murder conviction.
The only difference in these cases is the enforcement is governed by systemic white supremacy
Charleston White reacts to Karmelo Anthony being found guilty in the Austin Metcalf murder trial 👀
“This was unfair. It was an all-white jury, and the judge, DA, and Austin’s dad are all buddies. We’ve already got the money set aside to appeal and keep fighting”
