Our littlest fox, Nox is settling in nicely, and exploring his tunnel! He is not very trusting of people, and is going to require a lot of time, treats, toys, and patience for us to earn his trust!

We rescued 20 foxes from a fur farm.

Last year a fur farm closed down and we were able to take in 20 of the foxes that were there.

Thanks to all of you we had new enclosures and a new play yard built specifically for them!

I’ll be posting updates on these foxes soon!

Did you know that our friends at Saveafox Corporation have managed to SHUT DOWN one of the largest fox & mink fur farms in the US?!
But they need your help! The animals are safe from being pelted now, but they are still remaining in the small cages on the farm until Saveafox can raise enough funds to purchase a new property, build enclosures, and hire a staff to care for them! I somehow managed to sneak up on two sleepy foxes this morning! I’ve never seen Alacade and Mystic so quiet in their life 😂

Do you think you could sneak up on a fox?

Foxes have extremely good hearing, they are known to be able to hear a mouse squeak from 100 feet away!

Foxes can rotate their ears up to 150° each direction which allows them to pinpoint exactly where a sound is coming from. This allows them to do their famous snow jump, diving into the snow nose paws and nose first to catch prey.

Foxes use their keen senses to keep them safe from predators and to hunt prey! These sharp senses make sneaking up on a fox is a difficult task!
