So gents, here are a few thoughts of mine I went through all the applications and comments and I think a lot of projects simply will not get the grants or will get much less than asked for. I highlighted the projects with Green color that have high chances of getting a grant and potentially high upside because of the grant size related to MC/FDV, product, etc. The first thing I wanted to mention is that the biggest winner would be @GMX_IO (not the amount of x to its price though cause of high MC). They will likely get the biggest grant from the foundation and half of the projects on Arbitrum are built on top of GMX (mostly on top of v1, but still). So GMX will get direct and indirect benefits from the grants. That's why GMX seems like a safe bet for me at this price. @GainsNetwork_io will also benefit and it is also relatively a safe bet. There are other applicants that are built on top of Gains so same as GMX, Gains will benefit directly and indirectly. Another perp DEX to mention is @vertex_protocol. They will unlikely get the amount of grant they are requesting (4.5m ARB), but in case you are an active trader, it might make sense for you to farm future airdrop from Vertex. + The DEX itself is good. Now projects with the high RR. The craziest opportunity is @rlmverse! You might ask wtf is this? $74kMC coin asking for a $540k grant. It is a p2e game launched on/with/by (I am not sure which one is correct) @Treasure_DAO (if you don't know, TD received the biggest airdrop from Arbitrum and has the biggest voting power). So I expect that Realm will get a grant, but probably less than asked for. Be aware, that buying realm tokens ( $anima ) isn't an easy task. Only magic-anima LP, 100k liquidity (at 70k MC, lol). Also wanted to mention that I couldn't find any details about its tokenomics, supply, etc etc. But this coin has a very high RR, imo. Another game I did not select, but worth mentioning is @TalesofElleria. 300k MC, 500k FDV, same story with TreseareDao, but requested only for 50k $arb. Has less potential than Realm. And Realm has not pumped yet, bet Teleria ( $elm ) is 30% up. @Magpiexyz_io Ecosystem (magpie, penpie, radpie, campie) I think they will get a grant. They did a lot for the ecosystem, their application is more reasonable than Equilibrium has, etc. Probably they will get a little less than requested. $PNP and $MGP already pumped a little, so dyor. But it will likely make a lot of sense to participate in @Radpiexyz_io and @Campiexyz_io IDOs or conversion or whatever. No info on that, but keep an eye. @JonesDAO_io asking for quite a big grant but they got a lot of positive feedback. I expect they will get a smaller grant than requested but it will be still a very significant boost for them. @UmamiFinance. Also asked for a lot but with very clear objectives, KPIs, and good support from the community + they will be giving away oARB incentives. So people won't be able to dump but will have to buy ARB and stake it 1:1 to vest oARB. I think the Arb Foundation might like such an approach. Keeping in mind the low MC $4m (or is it a mid-cap nowadays?) I think there is a high upside. @LodestarFinance. Good proposal, adequate grant request, good LV, low MC. And no grant matching! (this is good for the native token) What else do you need? $GMD and $GND. I am not a fan of either, it was always obvious to me that it is a half ponzi and it was fun to watch how shills were shilling their bags ~6 months ago, but nevertheless token is very low now, grant request is more or less adequate, projects are native to Arb, already got an airdrop from the foundation before, so I think they have a good chance of securing these grants. This should appreciate the prices of the native tokens. @archi_fi. Good TVL, low MC, adequate request (probably a bit too high). On the negative side, they are matching the grants. They also want to distribute 10% of the grant to the native token stakers but I believe the foundation would not agree to that. Considering the MC, it should play well even if they get a smaller grant. @unsheth_xyz. I think they have potential even without the grant because they have quite a few products in the pipeline, they asked for a small grant, good feedback, etc. + They recently raised $3.3m at $3.5m FDV. On the negative side, I am not very well aware of their products myself, shitty audits (certik). @UniDexFinance. Very based team that is shipping 24/7, adequate grant request, imo, relatively low FDV, all tokens in circulation. On the negative side, they probably lack marketing/user adoption. The token has already pumped, but there is likely more potential for the upside. @SavvyDeFi. Super low MC (and TVL), 200k arb request might be a bit high for them, but if received - big pump. Very speculative low MC play, be careful. Overall I think all projects that will receive grants will pump, but I personally see more potential in the coins above. But please dyor and do not expect that my thoughts will correlate with the market. if you decide to invest - invest as much as you can afford to lose.
