Our latest Guest Lecture Series was a powerful reminder of why we do what we do. We were honored to host the Permanent Secretary of the Kaduna State Ministry of Health for an insightful session on the intersection of data and public health.
After a deep dive into the progress of the Fellowship program and the global success of our alumni. Dr Aishatu Abubakar Sadiq had a session on Evidence informed leadership and accountability in public health then the floor was opened to our Fellows to ask questions with the Permanent Secretary answering their thought-provoking questions on how data can truly transform healthcare delivery in Kaduna.
She left us with two essential pillars for a successful career. The first? Stay humble. No matter how high you climb or how advanced your technical skills become, a spirit of humility is what allows you to keep learning and serving the community effectively.

We are pleased to announce that the Fifth Cohort of the Click-On Kaduna Data Science Fellowship Program (DSFP 5.0) has officially come to an end.

The Data Science Fellowship Program implementation team conducted structured feedback sessions with DSFP 5.0 fellows to assess the impact of the specialization phase and gather insights to inform continuous program improvement.

These sessions provided an opportunity for fellows to reflect on their learning experience across the Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, Data Engineering, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) tracks, while also sharing challenges, expectations, and areas for enhancement.

The feedback exercise enabled the team to evaluate the effectiveness of the specialization model in deepening technical competencies and preparing fellows for real-world applications. It also offered valuable insights into fellows’ readiness to transition into professional engagement, reinforcing DSFP’s commitment to maintaining a responsive, high-quality training program aligned with evolving industry and public-sector needs.
