In early to mid-2015, when this image surfaced online, the fandom took this single screenshot as evidence that Ryan was definitely meant to be a sly, devious sort of character. Reflective of his Thomas Wooden Railway Bio, which described him as "overconfident and dismissive".
Ryan Hagan literally did the fandom meme of “putting self inset into episodes and writing them as the chilliest most likable character ever” in the official show
I may still find the TTTE Motorized Line still utterly absurd to the highest degree, but I am absolutely enthralled with the idea of a Snowy Ryan pack.
Perhaps I'm just reminded of the TCC's Great Sodor Snow Storm of Sodor Saga from a Decade ago, and how a Snowy Ryan suits it.
Kind of funny how Arc Productions, in an effort to find refernce material of a Great Northern Railway Class N2 Engine so that they could model Ryan, they ended up resorting to a HORNBY Trains Model.
I wonder if there's anything on the HO/OO Model that ended up on the CGI Mesh?
Even into the CGI Era of Thomas & Friends, it's fairly impressive that Mattel was able to keep up quite a string of celebrity voice actors.
In Sodor's Legend of the Lost Treasure alone, we had Olivia Coleman as Marion, Sir John Hurt as Sailor John, & Eddie Redmayne as Ryan.

What on Earth is the point of TTTE Motorized Line when TOMY Plarail is already sold in Asian Markets?
Isn't that just making competition for yourself by selling a different range of battery-operated plastic TTTE trains?
Plus, the quality difference between the two is astonishing.
I have wondered, contemplated, and pondered for so many years on which Motorized model of Ryan is best: TrackMaster II or TOMY Plarail's attempt?
Well, I think the answer is neither.
Both are equally flawed in many different ways.
Sad, really, given how great Ryan is in CGI.
This is my custom extended version of the Plarail Ryan. He is now a bit longer than the regular Thomas, and the front wheels are aligned with the wheel arches. The connecting rod uses the new Motorized Classic.
