You still need to prove your entry date. Even if you get a passport stamp, keep your boarding pass and other proof (like hotel bookings) — just in case.
Update on EU border rules 🇪🇺
The new biometric Entry/Exit System (EES) caused queues and delays at airports — so the EU is now pausing or easing checks to reduce pressure.
EES was meant to replace passport stamps, but in reality it caused delays and disruption at airports — including in Spain.
So for now, stamps are back (at least for this summer).
