Press Note: Kailasa Establishes Sister City Relationships for Humanitarian Services and Global Peace
Kailasa is the revival of the ancient enlightened Hindu civilizational nation.
Organizations representing Kailasa, have established sister city relationships with many cities around the world, including Newark, to continue our humanitarian services and promote global peace through better understanding of diverse cultures.
At a recent UN event, numerous organizations representing Kailasa were present, advocating for persecuted Hindus.
We want to clarify that Kailasa and its representatives have not deceived anyone nor are we fake.
However, there have been instances of Hinduphobia and racism in the media, attempting to delegitimize the revival of the Hindu civilizational nation through the consistent spread of disinformation, hate speech, and religious shaming.
It is important to note that Jagadguru Mahasannidhanam (SPH) Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam has been formally trained, initiated, anointed, and elected by his predecessors as per Hindu religious customs. He is not a self-styled godman.
We urge all media outlets to contact us and hear our side of the story before spreading disinformation and inciting violence through hate speech.
We are ready to clarify any questions related to the persecution done on SPH and Kailasa. Please reach out to us via email or WhatsApp if you have any clarifications.
Our sister city relationships aim to promote cultural exchange and understanding, and our humanitarian services are meant to serve those in need regardless of their background. We hope that through these efforts, we can promote global peace and unity.

Q: Any statement or response to claims that Kailasa is not in fact a real country?

A: Kailasa is the revival of the ancient enlightened Hindu civilizational nation with presence in many countries around the world. It was established much in the spirit of a country like the Sovereign Order of Malta, a borderless service oriented nation. We operate in multiple countries, through NGOs around the world where we offer free food, yoga & meditation and self-empowerment classes, apart from religious services.

KAILASA's Press Releases: The Press Secretary office of Holy See of the Hindusim Responds to NBC NEWS Correspondent Valerie Castro's Inquiry @VCastroTV

Q: Is there any statement or comment regarding allegations of sexual assault by Nithyananda and his reported fugitive status from India?

A: This case is absolutely false. Many prominent human rights advocates have given independent reports and legal opinions attesting this. Among them is world renowned Queen’s Council from UK Mr. Geoffrey Robertson who says in this report about the persecution: “It arises more generally from the demonisation of their leader and guru by the media and state government officials as a result of false sexual abuse charges first levelled against him in 2010 and pursued in a manner that amounts to an abuse of process.”. He further adds that “... the state of the prosecution evidence in both cases is weak and it is reasonably likely that he will eventually be acquitted. It is particularly concerning that the central government is urging states to encourage police action against him, which smacks of persecution and reprisal for his complaints to the UN.”. Finally, “For the reasons explained above, I consider that the leader of the ASMT and his followers have suffered and most likely are still suffering, persecution on the grounds of religious belief, contrary to Article 18 of the ICCPR”.

The Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism was proven innocent by the California (USA) Court on April 4, 2013. The court ruled in favor of the SPH and fined the false victim nearly half a million dollars in fines. This is also recognized by Mr. Robertson, QC stating: “Both A and B’s claims against PN were dismissed in US cases, with costs and, in A’s case, with damages. Further evidence emerged in the US proceedings to show that the allegations were false.”

Mr. Robertson says in his report that “He did not “jump bail” but was out on bail when he left India as he was entitled to do, and has remained abroad in order to seek asylum because he claims a well-founded fear of persecution.” The SPH is not a fugitive but a persecuted individual whose basic rights were denied. The passport authorities did not renew His passport even after the Indian court ordered them to do so. Further, innumerable attempts were made on the life of the SPH. For all these reasons he was moved to a safe place by His disciples and followers. Interpol has rejected any requests to issue any notices for him based on evidence that was presented to them.

Q: Where is the United States of Kailasa located? Where is its capital or headquarters?

A: We are a revival of the ancient enlightened Hindu civilizational nation, operating through a group of NGOs in multiple countries across the world. It was established much in the spirit of a country like the Sovereign Order of Malta, a borderless service oriented nation.

Its vision is “Living Enlightenment for all” leading to global peace irrespective of any external differences including gender, race, nationality, color, caste, creed, etc. It is established on the principle of “Oneness” (“Advaita” in Sanskrit).

Q: Is there any statement or response to allegations that the sister city agreement with Newark, NJ was fraudulent?

A: We have not frauded anyone. Organizations representing Kailasa, have established sister city relationships with many cities around the world, including Newark, to continue our humanitarian services and promote global peace through better understanding of diverse cultures. It is important to clarify that Kailasa and its representatives have not frauded anyone, nor are we fake. We are a legitimate organization established on teachings of an established religion, in pursuit of serving humanity. Our hope is that the independent western media will not parrot false narratives from our detractors. We remain committed to our purpose towards global peace.

KAILASA's Press Releases: The Press Secretary office of Holy See of the Hindusim Responds to CBS New York Reporter, Ali Bauman's Inquiry @AliBaumanTV

Q: Does Kailasa exist? If so, where is it located and how long has Kailasa been a nation?
A: We are a revival of the ancient enlightened Hindu civilizational nation and operate through a group of NGOs, recognized by the United Nations, operating from multiple countries across the world. It was established much in the spirit of a country like the Sovereign Order of Malta, a borderless service-oriented nation.

Q: Who is Swami Nithyananda?
A: The reviver of Kailasa, the Supreme Pontiff (SPH) of Hinduism Sri Nithyananda Paramashivam has been formally initiated, trained, and anointed by competent traditional Hindu authorities who have come in established lineages. He was recognized at a young age as an incarnation as per Hinduism, much like how the Dalai Lama was recognized as an incarnation as per Tibetan Buddhism. His teachings are based on core ancient Hindu scriptures.

Q: Is it true he has been on the run from India's federal authorities since 2019 for crimes?
A: No, this is absolutely false. Many prominent human rights advocates have given independent reports and legal opinions attesting to this. Among them is world-renowned Queen’s Council from the UK Mr. Geoffrey Robertson who says in this report about the persecution: “It arises more generally from the demonization of their leader and guru by the media and state government officials as a result of false sexual abuse charges first levelled against him in 2010 and pursued in a manner that amounts to an abuse of process.”. Q: What is something you'd like people to know about Kailasa?
A: We are a revival of the ancient enlightened Hindu civilizational nation, operating through a group of NGOs in multiple countries across the world. It was established much in the spirit of a country like the Sovereign Order of Malta, a borderless service-oriented nation.
Its vision is “Living Enlightenment for all” leading to global peace irrespective of any external differences including gender, race, nationality, color, caste, creed, etc. It is established on the principle of “Oneness” (“Advaita” in Sanskrit).
You should know about the reviver of Kailasa, the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism (SPH) Sri Nithyananda Paramashivam who has been formally initiated at age 3, trained, and anointed by competent traditional Hindu authorities who have come in established lineages. KAILASA's Press Releases: The Press Secretary office of Holy See of the Hindusim Responds to María Luisa Paúl, Morning Mix staff writer of The Washington Post: Washington Post @marialuisapaulr

Q: Can you please tell me a little bit more about Kailasa: When was it founded? Where is it located? What is its population? Is it 100% Hindu? What are its cultural practices? Does it have an official language or anthem?
A: We are a revival of the ancient enlightened Hindu civilizational nation and operate through a group of NGOs, recognized by the United Nations, operating from multiple countries across the world. It was established much in the spirit of a country like the Sovereign Order of Malta, a borderless service-oriented nation.

Q: How does the nation operate: Does it provide passports/birth certificates/official documentation? Can people visit Kailasa? What institutions are in place? Does it hold elections/what is its political system? Does it have embassies/ambassadors across the world? If so, where?
A: Like the Sovereign Order of Malta, KAILASA operates through multiple entities and NGOs, temples, and monasteries in multiple countries.

Q: In the same vein, if it is in fact a sovereign nation, why have the UN, the City of Newark, and other media outlets decried Kailasa as fake and said they don't recognize it? Is there any documentation proving that Kailasa is a country? Do any other nations recognize it as such?
See answers to the above questions

Q: SPH Nithyananda Paramashivam has been accused of rape and scamming: Would you like to respond to these allegations?
A: All such allegations are absolutely false. Many prominent human rights advocates have given independent reports and legal opinions attesting this. The Press Secretary Office of The Holy See of Hindusim Responds to Matthew Loh, Breaking News Reporter of Insider Inc (Business Insider), Singapore Insider Insider Business @ma2loh

Q: Your team claims that Kailasa has not deceived anyone and is "not fake." What does Kailasa claim to be in conventional terms? Is it a sovereign state, or an organization perhaps?
A: We are a revival of the ancient enlightened Hindu civilizational nation, operating through a group of NGOs in multiple countries across the world. It was established much in the spirit of a country like the Sovereign Order of Malta, a borderless service-oriented nation.
Its vision is “Living Enlightenment for all” leading to global peace irrespective of any external differences including gender, race, nationality, color, caste, creed, etc. It is established on the principle of “Oneness” (“Advaita” in Sanskrit).

Q: Your team also claims there have been "instances of Hinduphobia and racism" in the media. Can you identify these instances and explain your reasoning for them?
A:
I would respectfully point you to independent reports such as Anti-Hindu Disinformation: A Case Study of Hinduphobia on Social Media from Rutgers University. The Hindu American Foundation has a collection of references to usage of Hinduphobic and anti-Hindu words: https://t.co/KcSl8o6pbg
Here is another article that shows evidence for how mainstream narratives erase Hindu voices.
Much of the narrative about the SPH comes from Indian media which has been called out for its corruption and false reporting.

Q: Is there any documentary evidence you can provide to show the legitimacy of Kailasa?
A: Kailasa is the revival of the ancient enlightened Hindu civilizational nation with a presence in many countries around the world. It was established much in the spirit of a country like the Sovereign Order of Malta, a borderless service-oriented nation. We operate in multiple countries, through NGOs around the world where we offer free food, yoga & meditation, and self-empowerment classes, apart from religious services.
Q: Nithyananda also says he owns an island off the coast of Ecuador. Can Kailasa prove this claim?
A: SPH has never claimed he owns an island.
