@bunkster1 There is no doubt that subs are “essential workers” helping to keep schools open as COVID rages through classrooms. And yet, when substitutes themselves get sick, they are discarded without compensation or concern as they struggle to recover. Shameful.

I love the English language. While checking out twitter recently I came across a tweet where the author described a situation as “…growing like wildflowers!” Perhaps not the most common simile, but what a great image!

@calmudge0n @Saskajanet Yes. And at Sturgeon Lake on pleasant summer days a flock will sometimes make its way to a lofty elevation and then just ride the air currents around in big, swooping arcs; seemingly for hours.

@TamIWas Thermacell works for us- allows people to enjoy the firepit or lawn games. About a 6 ft radius for each device. Need to give it 20 minutes to clear an area and you must replace the “wafer” with the repellent after a few hours.
