after reading the Manifesto, I can tell you they haven’t even delivered half of what they promised the youth.
— The 24-Hour Economy (1 job, 3 shifts, 3 people)
— Ensure the 6-month rent policy
— Free Wi-Fi in all tertiary institutions
— Rewards and incentives for health workers who accept postings to rural communities
— Completing and expanding E-Blocks in schools to boost infrastructure
— Introducing the BED FOR ALL programme to address the accommodation crisis on campuses
— Free sanitary pads for all SHS students
— Introducing JOBS4YOU to create employment opportunities.
— Introducing a National Sexual Harassment Policy
— Improving the conditions of service for NSS personnel
— Community development programmes in rural areas
— Creating at least 300,000 employment opportunities under the District Jobs Initiative (DJI)
— Improving juvenile sporting activities
— Upgrading school sickbays into satellite clinics
…and this is just a fraction of what was promised
Pelé scored a total of 1,283 goals throughout his career, but many of those came in matches that were not official and are not recognized by FIFA.
If we’re talking about officially recognized matches, Pelé scored 757 official goals in 831 matches. That’s why he congratulated Ronaldo.
The other post says “1,283 goals in my life.” That total includes friendly matches, community games, pre-season matches, exhibition games, and tour matches.
According to Pelé’s Wikipedia page, he played for only two clubs during his career: Santos and New York Cosmos. He played 583 matches for Santos and scored 569 goals, while for New York Cosmos, he played 64 matches and scored 37 goals. For Brazil, he scored 77 goals in 92 matches. That brings his official total from those appearances to 683 goals. Even Wikipedia cannot account for many of the goals included in his lifetime tally because they came in unofficial matches.
In 1961, the Brazilian President declared Pelé a National Treasure at just 20 years old, effectively preventing him from leaving Brazil for much of his career. The government frequently used him for diplomatic and tourism-related purposes, which led to him playing numerous exhibition matches.
During that period, Pelé played exhibition matches against teams such as Nigeria, during the Nigerian Civil War, Accra Hearts of Oak, Real Madrid, and Al Nassr, among others. Those matches are not considered official fixtures and therefore do not count toward his official goal tally.
Pelé is reported to have played in over 532 exhibition matches. I’ve attached images from some of those games, including Pelé vs. Accra Hearts of Oak, Real Madrid, Nigeria, and Al Nassr.
This is the simple point some people are failing to understand. At this stage, some Messi and Barcelona fans are simply being delusional. Collectively, they’ve declared war on common sense and the rest of us shouldn’t be expected to stand in its way.
I knew there wasn't much to it, judging by the Argentina players' reactions around the incident alone. Otherwise, this brother would have had his tooth knocked out by Mac Allister.
Just look at how Mac Allister was monitoring the situation🤣🤣

MINDSET CHANGE: THE FOUNDATION OF A CLEANER GHANA
Sanitation is not just about sweeping streets or clearing drains,it begins with the way people think. A nation’s environment is a reflection of its mindset. When citizens believe that keeping their surroundings clean is everyone’s responsibility, cleaner communities become a natural outcome.
In Ghana, many sanitation challenges such as indiscriminate dumping of waste, littering, open defecation, and choked drains are driven more by attitudes than by a lack of infrastructure. Changing this mindset means helping people understand that every piece of waste thrown into a drain, every wetland encroached upon, and every act of negligence has consequences for the entire community.
A positive sanitation mindset encourages individuals to dispose of waste responsibly, participate in community clean-up exercises, protect public spaces, and hold themselves accountable rather than waiting for government intervention. It also inspires businesses, schools, and local leaders to become active partners in protecting the environment.
When mindset changes, behavior changes. When behavior changes, communities become cleaner, flooding is reduced, public health improves, tourism grows, and national development accelerates.
Ultimately, transforming sanitation in Ghana is not just about providing more bins or collecting more waste,it is about creating a culture where every citizen sees environmental cleanliness as a personal duty. A cleaner Ghana begins with a changed mindset.

When the floodwaters recede, they leave behind more than debris—they reveal our habits.
Every piece of litter is a reminder that the rains only exposed the consequences of our actions.
If we want cleaner communities, we must first change our mindset. Respect nature, protect our water bodies, and the environment will return the favor.
PATRIOTISM DOES NOT BEGIN AND END WITH A BLACK STARS JERSEY 🇬🇭
Too often, we become the loudest patriots only when the Black Stars are playing in the World Cup.
We flood social media with flags, wear our national colors with pride, and sing the national anthem with passion. Yet, when the final whistle is blown, many return to habits that undermine the very nation they claim to love.
TRUE PATRIOTISM IS A DAILY COMMITMENT
It is refusing to pay or take bribes. It is protecting public property. It is obeying the law, paying taxes, keeping our environment clean, respecting one another, and contributing honestly to national development.
It is choosing integrity when no one is watching and putting the nation's interest above personal gain.
A NATION IS BUILT EVERY DAY, NOT JUST ON MATCH DAY.
A country is not built by 90minutes of football support,it is built by 365 days of responsible citizenship.
Wear the Black Stars jersey with pride. Cheer with all your heart. But remember: the greatest way to support Ghana is not by the jersey you wear, but by the values you live every single day.
PATRIOTISM IS NOT A FASHION STATEMENT. IT IS A LIFESTYL
