This weekend sees us take on FCC Stars in the League away at Ordsall Recreation, 11am kick off.

Despite defending well throughout, we were unable to offer much of an attacking threat, failing to test their keeper during the game.

We were defeated 2-0 this morning against a decent Winton side. Their opener came in the 55th minute, doubling their lead in injury time.

We're taking on Winton Wanderers tomorrow in the league. Kick off is 11am at Salford Sports Village.

We are now in joint fourth with Winton and De La Salle, with all 3 of us having 7 points from 7 games.

Charlestown top the table with 19 points from 8 games. FC Cons Club are currently second with 16 points from 6 games.

There was only other one game in our division and that saw Charlestown beat Winton Wanderers 3-2.

Sunday saw a disappointing result with defeat at home to FC Cons Club, despite patches of encouraging performances.

This weekend we face FC Cons Club at home in the league. We lost 3-0 in the reverse fixture when we met a few weeks ago.

Our game tomorrow has been called off. It looks like it'll be rescheduled for next weekend.

FCC Stars have played four games so far this season, beating both De La Salle and Barton Town, losing to Charlestown and FC Cons Club.

Overall, it was a good effort throughout but we lacked that cutting edge in possession to cause Charlestown many real problems.

Charlestown doubled their lead with 15 minutes to go, a nice through ball was latched onto by their Forward, tucking away his finish well.
