“While climate change is a global issue, its effects hit hardest at the local level.” Says @sir_phillo, founder at @climatekakuma a civic engagement project that he started while he was a student at the Hubs for Connected Learning Initiatives’ Refugee Higher Education Access Program.
Philip’s project prioritizes climate literacy – educating the youth and empowering the entire Kakuma refugee and host community, by fostering knowledge and action to build resilience and create a sustainable future.
The project was launched with support from @opensocietyuniv and the @bardcce through the @OsunHubs
