Storms damaged homes and businesses in São Paulo. During the rain,a wall at a waste management cooperative collapsed, leaving trash flooding the streets.Water flooded stores and homes,and even washed away parked cars. A total of 59 mm of rain fell in 24 hours.

Waterspouts were observed in municipalities along the Lagoa dos Patos lagoon in Rio Grande do Sul. Several municipalities experienced heavy rain, thunderstorms, and hail. Winds reached 100 km/h, knocking down roofs, trees, and damaging vehicles.
