How can we improve underlying conditions for SDG implementation?

This and much more was discussed this weekend at the @UN HQ, where we took part of #ScienceDay: Evidence-based Strategies for SDG Acceleration at #HLPF2023.

[Khalilur Rahman @UN_PGA]

Science, at its core, is based on reliable data.

Data we desperately need to make the necessary changes.

Changes to how we manage our resources, how we monitor our progress, & how we validate the implementation of the SDGs.

[Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan @MayorofLondon]

The threat climate change poses to both London and New York can’t be overstated.

As mayors of two of the world's largest and most diverse global cities, @NYCMayor Eric Adams and I are championing climate budgeting, taking action now to help save our planet.

[Tomer Shalit @tomershalit]

Mayor of London, @SadiqKhan, and Mayor of New York City, @ericadamsfornyc, wrote an op-ed in @NewStatesman about climate budgets.
