In the past few years, as our clients' needs have evolved, we've started exploring custom printing on blank vests and masks! Several of our clients have opted to add their clinic logo, specific wording, or multilingual options to our wide variety of basic colors.

The past ten years have been an amazing experience, and we couldn't have done it without you. From the minute we incorporated a decade ago, we stopped being a few individuals and started being a community who support everyone on the front lines of the fight for abortion rights.

In 2020, we had to support our clients as they struggled to protect patients and follow rapidly changing guidelines. Masks were a natural next step! We offered Clinic Escort masks in three color combos - rainbow, raspberry, and blue/pink/yellow! #10for10 #clinicvest #vestlove

In 2019, some of our clients mentioned that they didn't have escorts, but they did have folks supervising their parking lots. Would we be able to make a vest for them? Of course, we got to work right away, and came up with our starred Parking vests! #10for10 #clinicvest #vestlove

The rainbows were SO well-received that we figured it might be a good idea to come up with some alternate options for clinics dealing with attempted copycats. This quickly led to our beautiful raspberry vests! (b/c of the pink and green stripes) #10for10 #clinicvest #vestlove

In 2017, we debuted our first multi-colored vest - the rainbows! We worked closely with our vendors to design something that would be harder to imitate, and judging by how many of our clients still love their rainbow vests, it went pretty well :) #10for10 #clinicvest #vestlove

In 2016, we expanded our colors further, adding green and blue. Just in time, since our client list exploded when Planned Parenthood was targeted by the Center for Medical Progress. Lots of clinics started escort programs and needed help from CVP. #10for10 #clinicvest #vestlove

After a year of hunting, we finally found a vendor who can provide the bright Pepto-Bismol pink that quickly became our most popular color! We were delighted to send some to the Pink House, who initially requested the color. #10for10 #clinicvest #vestlove

On September 2nd, 2014, CVP officially incorporated with a mission statement, four board members, and a few cardboard boxes. We've grown so much since then, and we are so lucky to have three of the original crew still involved with CVP! #10for10 #clinicvest #vestlove

In January 2014, another clinic in KY reached out, and Benita ordered more vests in yellow and orange. Then Pink House received their first shipment of vests, and asked if they might be available in (obvs) pink! And something started taking shape... #10for10 #clinicvest #vestlove

It all started in October 2013, when our founder and president, Benita, ordered the first box of bright yellow safety vests for a clinic in South Bend, IN. When she and the Abortion Care Network posted about it, some other clinics expressed interest #10for10 #clinicvest #vestlove

WOW! CVP is going to have our 10th birthday this year! A whole decade of UPS runs, storage containers, design proofs, fundraising events, and much more! Over the next ten days, we'll be looking back at the Clinic Vest Project's history and how we've gotten here!
