Jeff Hornacek with a jumper vs. Iowa on Jan. 14, 1984. Hornacek was two boards shy of ISU's first-ever triple double, compiling 12 points, 15 assists and 8 rebounds in ISU's 76-72 victory in Hilton Coliseum.

Scott Christopherson with the game-winner at the buzzer vs. Oklahoma State in 2012. A pivotal win in Cyclone hoops history. Mitch Holthus' call was absolutely brilliant.

@kingznut@BigRonInJersey I remember exactly where I was when I was watching that game in 1988 as an 11 year old. Game 5 when the A's were trailing 3-1 in the series. One strike away from the WS, and then the blast to the LF power alley. I didn't know about Donnie Moore's fate- that is sad man.
@kingznut@BigRonInJersey I get it. It's hard to disagree with you. I have heard HoF arguments for players who have lesser stats than Coop. I was a young kid when he was at his best. I just didn't realize he hit .300 for 7 consecutive seasons, 1 of which was over .350.
@kingznut@BigRonInJersey Agreed. And thinking a little more about it, he probably wouldn't have his number retired unless he made the Hall. I'm biased. I'd love to see 8 retired too.
