🇪🇸 A 2-year-old boy was thrown into the Atlantic and killed after traffickers became annoyed by his crying during a migrant boat crossing to Lanzarote.

The toddler was thrown into the water in front of his mother. The claim emerges as Spanish police investigate the alleged gang rape of a Guinean woman aboard the same boat on September 16.

Two Malian nationals and one Burkina have been arrested.

Was taking a COVID vaccine a lottery?

A published Danish study examined reports linked to 52 Pfizer vaccine batches. Batches accounting for just 4.22% of doses were associated with 70.78% of the suspected adverse event reports in its analysis. The authors called the disparity a batch-dependent safety signal requiring further investigation.

People were coerced and mandated to take these products. Many faced losing their livelihoods if they refused. Now injured people, and families who believe they lost loved ones because of vaccination, are told they had a choice.

What choice does a worker have when refusal means losing their job?

The institutions that imposed or defended mandates should not be left to assess injury claims without independent scrutiny. That conflict goes to the heart of public trust. It raises a serious question of institutional and regulatory capture.

Regulators had a duty to protect the public. Release the batch records. Investigate the injuries and deaths. Give affected families an assessment they can trust.

Telling people they had a choice after mandating the product is a disgrace.

Germany currently has about 26 gigawatt hours of battery storage. Most of it sits in home batteries with only 4.3 gigawatt hours actually serving the grid.

Building that storage already cost more than €10 billion, and at national demand levels it only covers roughly 30 minutes of summer electricity usage.

The winter months bring what's known as 'dunkelflaute' -- cold dark windless periods (and higher energy usage).

To survive a 10-day winter lull (the minimum realistic requirement), Germany would need about 12,000 gigawatt hours of batteries, 470 times today's storage.

Such a system would weigh roughly 60 million tons and would be made from vast quantities of lithium, nickel, graphite, copper, aluminum and steel -- all requiring intensive mining.

At current battery prices, the system would cost trillions of euros. And batteries last only 10 to 15 years, meaning the entire system would need constant replacement.

The conclusion is unavoidable:

Wind and solar require reliable backup power --renewables need oil, coal, gas and nuclear.

Rukshan Fernando has accused Anthony Albanese and the Labor Government of turning the reported AI “hack” into a manufactured scare campaign, exaggerating the threat posed by artificial intelligence while downplaying pre-existing security failures on a publicly exposed government website.

His allegations remain contested, but the Government cannot dismiss serious technical questions with political spin. Australians deserve the complete incident timeline, the vulnerability exploited, the systems affected, the evidence of AI involvement and the data supporting every public claim.

If the official account is accurate, release the technical evidence. If the incident was exaggerated to manufacture fear around AI, Australians deserve to know that too.

The Government does not get to invoke cybersecurity when it wants secrecy, then demand blind trust from the public. Claims this serious require evidence, transparency and independent scrutiny.
