This was, without question, the worst day of the Carney government to date.
The Foreign Minister blamed the democratic State of Israel — not the terrorist group Hamas. The Justice Minister announced he’s working from home and will be taking meetings on Zoom, as though the justice system were a tech startup. The Heritage Minister — who has nothing to do with pipelines — publicly contradicted the Prime Minister on energy policy. What’s next? Will he put a Canadian flag on a barrel of oil and call it culture?
And then there’s the Housing Minister, who made it clear that making homes more affordable just isn’t a priority for him.
You’ll forgive the language, but today was a complete and utter clusterfuck.
From now on, only the Prime Minister speaks.
Everyone else? Sit down. Take notes. And stop sinking the ship.
Or as PM Carney would say “CA SUFFIT!”
Not even 48 hours in.
Mark Carney announces he won’t introduce a budget this year. Because he is a very smart economist and you are not a very smart economist.
A Liberal Minister is already fighting pipelines — saying no new ones should get built.
Parliament has been shut down since December — and the former failed Immigration and Housing — now Justice Minister is talking about working from home.
The new Housing Minister who nearly tripled housing costs as Vancouver’s Mayor — is telling everyone the cost of housing is fine.
These people are here to do exactly the same thing they did over the last 10 years.
In 2 days:
- Mark Carney appoints a Housing Minister who nearly tripled housing costs as Vancouver Mayor.
- Mark Carney announces he will not introduce any budget this year.
- Mark Carney’s Minister Guilbeault says “no” to any new pipelines.
The last 2 days look a lot like the last 10 years.
Delivered and straight to work! 💪🚀
This Morris 18m Quantum bar paired with a 10 Series Air Cart was pre-delivered just in time for seeding — and she’s already making tracks in the paddock.
📸 Thanks to @westernplainsmotors for sharing it!
Crossed over 80% today. New seeder this year after 15 years with old one. Really liking this new Morris Series 10 cart. Hope for some good luck and can get wrapped up in a few days.
@rupasubramanya@MarkJCarney Watched the actual interview.... embarrassing. It felt like a bad SNL skit. 51st State shade thrown right at Carney and he barely got a word in edgewise. Trump trashed Carney's besty Chrystia and nothing. Being marginally better than Justin is not a win. He sure "handled" Trump.
Oh please. This is coming from the biggest political grifter in Canada—a guy who’s spent the last four years cosplaying as the only “real” conservative while attacking the only party even remotely capable of removing the Liberal regime from power.
When was the last time Maxime Bernier took the fight to a Liberal riding? When did he challenge the regime directly? Never.
He doesn’t run where it matters. He runs where it’s safe to lose.
Because winning would mean taking responsibility. Losing keeps the grift going.
And now he wants to claim the PPC “lost votes” because voters were fooled? No—voters left because they’ve figured him out. They saw a guy who’d rather tear down Conservatives than defeat Liberals. A guy more obsessed with Pierre Poilievre than with Mark Carney. A guy whose entire brand depends on being the loudest guy on the sidelines while the game is being played by someone else.
Let me be clear: Bernier didn’t split the vote. He split the movement.
And he’s still doing it. Because it pays.
The truth is this:
We are in a war for the country.
And it’s not going to be won by slogans or by clinging to one moment in 2021. It’s going to be won by people who are willing to go into Liberal strongholds, challenge the establishment, and actually govern.
I think 99% of people who voted Liberal have never read this book - they couldn’t be bothered.
I also think that everyone who voted Liberal should be forced to live by the “values” outlined in this book.
Effective immediately
I think that’s fair.
“Elbows up.”
