Today we gathered together with faith leaders at the G20 Interfaith Forum planning meeting to discuss the necessity of collaboration with all stakeholders to bring about transformation in our communities. I spoke about the critical role of the church using Luke 4:18 as the foundation where JESUS said: “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me: To preach the gospel to the poor (marginalized); He has sent
Me to heal the brokenhearted (hurting), to proclaim liberty to the captives (oppressed), and recovery of sight (vision) to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed…” Jesus emphasizes compassion, a love for one’s neighbour, which means the necessity of confronting systemic evils, confronting poverty, inequality, war, speaking out against policies and practices that contradict biblical moral imperatives, and practically demonstrating the practical application of social justice.
@eNCA Our country is in a state of moral decay!!! No value for life!!!! We weep with the families who lost loved ones! We need to PRAY, but also need to ACT! We can surely do better! Seriously!
A prayer service has been held for the families of the victims of the Soweto tavern massacre. The death toll has now risen to 16 after another victim died in hospital. #DStv403#eNCA
Our response to the crisis in our nation is firstly to call upon the name of the Lord - and it’s huge. Some like to say “all we can do is pray”. Be assured, prayer is not our last hope, it’s our first, effective line of defence against darkness.
Join us: 7pm Wednesday TBN DSTV
We had hundreds of households coming together virtually early this morning to stand united in prayer for our nation.
“When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him.”

Declare it today:
I AM THE SERMON!
I AM THE MESSAGE!
We are all called to be preachers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ but preaching is not about a momentary performance it is the outflow of our daily lives!
