This account is largely to make footage on police brutality and spread it to folks that can help. I'm also half of DJ LRAD though, so expect music too. He/him
@WedgeLIVE Hey now, they're stealing our homegrown Seattle embarrassing-council-member shticks. @ericacbarnett and @TheNeedling : how do we file a lawsuit for Rob Saka impersonation? https://t.co/B0Iyimk02E
@Noshu4me Going through some books, remembered someone wanted these, just finally found the tweet....you still want a set? (DM me an address, I'll get some your way)
I never think to crosspost, BUT a new resource for Seattle folks: https://t.co/nl9CgtgaFX
I walk the city delivering books/food/etc, and finally mapped every little free pantry/fridge I've found (not quite current; updates slowly, mostly on IG). Share with folks who can use it
@typewriteralley Obviously, the main reason we go to businesses in Pioneer Square is because of how easy it is to park in those...3 or 4 street spots, next to the parking garage, across from the other parking garage, over by a parking lot.... [insert deep sigh here]
@AshleyNerbovig fun little addition: the SPD use of force data says that no officers used ANY force.....for a whole 2-week stretch there actually. I'm sure that's not a sign of any sort of poor reporting practices around use of force or anything.....
@Stop_Sweeps_SEA to elaborate a little on this, shelters often have a limit of 1-2 bags and people have to give up whatever they can't bring in. If they give up the rest of their stuff (actual survival gear - blankets, clothes, etc), they risk not surviving after their 1 night in the shelter
Join the Women In Black this Wed 10/25 @ 12pm for their monthly silent vigil to honor 32 unhoused folks who died outside in Sept. We are grateful for the work Women in Black do to remember each of these humans, and remind ppl these folks mattered to others and they matter to us.
@AlyciaRamirez3 @ericacbarnett That PO box (which admittedly could have been rented by someone else, then coincidentally picked up by this group) happens to have been used for the campaign of Jeanette Burrage last year. Her about page is...something https://t.co/akwVgYI5WD
