A survey which could lead to street improvements for the Ashgrove Road & Ashgrove Road West area finishes today.
The Ashgrove Connections Project would complement the proposed Berryden Corridor.

🏴 We have now officially put ScotRail into public ownership, so that Scotland's railway works for all those who use it.
🚉 Together, we'll build a greener, better, and more modern railway.

“Our city is relatively unique in having a beach so close to the city centre and we should embrace that, helping to ensure that it once becomes a part of our city’s identity and reputation." - @CllrAlexNicoll

🟡 Your Aberdeen SNP Council Candiates 🟡
Here is our team of diverse and talented @AberdeenSNP candidates for the 2022 Aberdeen City Council elections.
🗳 Help us to make Aberdeen a better place to live, work and grow up by voting SNP on 5th May!
A great progressive move by @McLellanSNP and the wider @theSNP council group. Very many people in Aberdeen rely on public transport. Everyone, regardless of whether they can afford a car or can walk long distances should be able to access the institution that is Union Street.
🚍 We’re putting buses at the heart of Scotland’s green recovery and helping people to choose to travel more sustainably.
📢 @scotgov’s Zero Emission Bus Challenge Fund will support bus operators to upgrade bus fleets to provide greener local bus services.
Great to see the First Minister in Aberdeen South today. A big announcement on the National Floating Offshore Wind Innovation Centre - yet another boost for our city and region.
First Minister @NicolaSturgeon visited our office today to mark the formal launch of ETZ and welcomed the announcement we will collaborate with ORE Catapult to develop a world leading £9 million National Floating Wind Innovation Centre to be located within the zone.
My question to the First Minister at Holyrood today.
“If the Westminster Government doesn’t even see their own Scottish Tory MSPs as equals, then what does that mean for the rest of us?
It is so important that we continue to test before we meet people, and any decision on stopping the provision of LFDs must be taken on a four-nation basis.
I raised this important issue with the Deputy First Minister yesterday 👇🏻
🎥An attempt to overturn the decision to permanently pedestrianise part of Aberdeen’s Union Street failed this morning.
🗳 Opposition councillors wanted the matter brought to full Council.
🗣SNP Leader Alex Nicoll has been speaking me about it.
24-21 majority in favour of debating access to Union Street this morning. Blocked by the Labour & Tory members of the Administration using Standing Orders.
There is a clear majority who are unhappy with the status-quo and the Union Street closure.
This is not over yet...
The Labour/Tory administration shutting down the democratic will of the Aberdeen City Council chamber this morning is woeful. The Lord Provost storming off to the sudden end of the meeting is just something else... 🤨
No surprise the debate on access to Union Street was blocked by the Labour and Conservative Councillors in the Administration.
Silencing debate, not listening to the people of Aberdeen, nothing new I guess.
When the public were living under restrictions Number 10 "thought it would be nice to make the most of this lovely weather". One rule for them. Another for the rest of us. Time to go @BorisJohnson.
