Shocked and saddened by the stabbing in Cirencester last night. My thoughts are with the victim and their family.
This violence has no place in our town. A man has been arrested and police enquiries are ongoing.
If you have info, please contact @Glos_Police or Crimestoppers.
Many of you will of seen the damaged fence at Tescos in Cirencester. This has been reported and will be fixed by Cotswold District Council. Thank you to the staff at Tescos for notifying me as councillor. I popped up earlier to take a look… the car has now been removed.
Today we mark VE Day — a time to remember those who sacrificed so much for peace and freedom. As we look at today’s world, let’s honour their memory by working for peace, hope, and unity in our communities and beyond.

"I must stress that we need bolder, more decisive action if we're to face the greatest challenge of our time; the climate crisis."
@DrRozSavageMP calls for more urgent climate action in the wake of Storm Bert and COP29.
LGA Lib Dem Group Leader @joeharrispark with his initial response to the budget.
“When it comes to local government it’s a case of meet the new boss, same as the old boss. Austerity remains alive and well.”
Today’s budget doesn’t give Cotswolds residents the cost-of-living relief they need. Higher employer NI and delayed tax adjustments add pressure on households, leaving councils to “pick up the pieces.” We need policies that truly support working families and businesses.
