🚜 Jeremy Clarkson has just shared a fascinating story.
He says a celebrity friend of his was celebrating with a group of young farmers when they told him that every single one of them was voting Reform.
Now, that's a pretty bold claim.
But if it's even close to being true, it says a lot about what's happening in rural Britain right now.
For years, farmers have felt ignored by the political establishment. Rising costs, endless regulations, pressure on family farms and decisions made by people who often seem completely disconnected from life in the countryside.
Maybe that's why so many are looking for something different.
Watch the clip and decide for yourself.
Do you think Clarkson is right?
Are young farmers turning to Reform in large numbers?
You know when people tag me on Facebook and say, "Well done for helping get the drains sorted, but how come that one pesky drain near my house still hasn't been done?"
This is why.
This drain has been blocked for years, long before I came along.
After years of neglect, this is the sort of work that has to be carried out just to repair a single drain properly. It's not a quick fix and it certainly isn't cheap.
When maintenance is put off year after year, what should be a simple repair turns into a major engineering job.
That's why I will continue fighting not just to get our roads and drains sorted, but to make sure they are properly maintained going forward so we never end up back in this situation again.
A special thank you to Peter Osborne , our Cabinet Member for Highways. has been working incredibly hard behind the scenes to tackle years of underinvestment and get things moving in the right direction.
With the Crabble Hill traffic lights now completed, the resurfacing of Alkham Valley Road, and the ongoing drainage works across Dover, I'm hoping you're starting to see some of the positive changes we're trying to make.
And that's just our first year!
Years of neglect got us here. Proper maintenance will get us out of it.
Kind regards Cllr James James Robert Defriend

Just back from Bromley. Clean streets, busy shops and packed cafés.
No wonder people choose the big sheds at Whitfield where parking is free.
Parking policies that drive shoppers away are decimating our town centres. Maybe it's time for some radical rethinking.

Honoured to have been appointed to the Kent and Medway Fire and Rescue Authority.
I am stepping into this role at a challenging time, with significant pressures facing public services, but I am looking forward to getting stuck in, asking questions and helping ensure Kent continues to receive the excellent fire and rescue service it deserves.
The hard work continues. 🔥

One of Britain’s most dangerous terrorists, Zahid Iqbal, the man convicted over a plot to blow up an army base using a toy car bomb, is reportedly being released early according to GB News.
This is despite serious warnings from multiple experts who advised against letting him out.
How on earth are we at a point where a convicted terrorist can be released early while the British public are expected to just accept the risk?
This is what happens when governments go soft on crime and stop putting public safety first.
Do you honestly think someone convicted of terrorism should be walking our streets again early?
Because I certainly do not.
How is this acceptable?
I see Labour MPs have now written to the so called “Equalities Watchdog” because apparently Reform have hurt some feelings.
They might want to hurry up with their investigation though, because when Reform gets in, we’ll be scrapping the watchdog altogether and showing the whole lot of them the door.
As the small boat migrant crisis intensifies, over 1,050 illegal migrants have crossed the Channel this weekend alone.
Enough is enough.
Kent cannot continue carrying the burden while Westminster buries its head in the sand.
Robert Jenrick is claiming he is lowering petrol prices.
If the owner of the petrol station has taken prices down, how is that anything to do with Reform?
I’d like to hear about the direct link that he is claiming.
The Court of Appeal has overturned the injunction that stopped the Bell Hotel in Epping being used to house asylum seekers. The Home Office and the hotel’s owners brought the appeal, and judges ruled that the injunction should be lifted.

A STATEMENT FROM NIGEL FARAGE
This is a victory for the parents and concerned residents of Epping. They do not want their young women being assaulted on the streets.
This community stood up bravely, despite being slandered as far right, and have won. They represent the vast majority of decent people in this country.
Young, undocumented males who break into the UK illegally should NOT be free to walk the streets anywhere. They must be detained and deported.
I hope that Epping provides inspiration to others across the country.
Billions sent to France.
Tents still lining Calais.
Boats still landing in Dover.
This so-called “deal” isn’t stopping illegal migration, it’s just throwing British taxpayers’ money across the Channel with nothing to show for it.

‘One in, one out.’ Sounds tough, doesn’t it? But the truth is, it’s a con.
Politicians love to act like it’s the ultimate solution to our immigration crisis. But it doesn’t reduce our record-high net migration, which is now over 600,000 a year.
