On Nolan discussing the DUPs cynical attempt to 'name and shame' those commiting benefit fraud while governments allow the comparatively more heinous fraud of multi billion pound companies to go unchallenged
Honoured to be selected to represent @pb4p in West Belfast.
I'm determined to fight for public services, for working class people, and for Palestine. We'll stand for all failed by the Tories and their functionaries at Stormont.
If you'd like to get involved then get in touch ✊
In @BelTel about the march to the US Consulate over genocide in Gaza. People called for a White House boycott and SF received a frosty reception for their unprincipled stance. Mudslinging at PBP is meant to distract from the principled BDS call.
Our statement in full: 👇
Last night Sinn Féin, the DUP and Alliance voted together to prevent a People Before Profit motion being debated in Belfast City Council.
The motion called on politicians to boycott the Whitehouse this St Patrick's Day in solidarity with Palestine.
With Unison workers at the RVH for Palestine. Working class people have the power to help break apartheid and isolate Israel by coming out on strike, just as Dunnes workers did during South African apartheid in the 1980s. This is something we need to fight for in the TU movement.
Today, I wrote to all Belfast City Councillors urging them to convene a Special Meeting of Council to discuss the need to call for the expulsion of the Israeli ambassador. We need the support of 1/4 Councillors for a Special Meeting to go ahead. Please write to your local reps
Out around doors today letting people know about the Poleglass Stands with Palestine rally tomorrow at 6pm at the Colin Grill (Good Shepard Road).
Come along tomorrow and let's send a message that Poleglass says no to Israeli apartheid and occupation.
Join the local Palestine solidarity rallies in Colin this week.
As Israel ratchets up its aggression on Gaza, we need to keep the pressure on to ensure governments break diplomatic ties with apartheid Israel.
Tue, 6pm, Colin Grill, Poleglass
Wed, 6pm, Lenadoon Shops, Lenadoon
Pleased to hear SF has u-turned on its refusal to call for the expulsion of the Israeli ambassador. This is a result of the growing pressure brought about mass protests across Ireland. People power works. Lets keep up the pressure to ensure the Irish governmrnt acts. 🇵🇸
