Today is National Child Sexual Exploitation Awareness Day. This Government is tackling online child sexual exploitation by supporting law enforcement as they pursue offenders, developing new technology to protect victims & working to ensure tech companies remove illegal content.

There has been no specific proposal - as yet - from the EU to ban straws. The EU has promised “analytical work” on the “scope of a legislative initiative” to “reduce” single use plastics. Also waiting for the EU to catch up on microbeads - UK’s ban is 1st in Europe #greenbrexit https://t.co/Ohplb3ZtXt

Bank of England upgrades GDP growth forecast for 2018 to 1.8% (from 1.6%). Quite clear OBR wrong to downgrade growth to 1.4% in Autumn Budget (as some of us said at the time). It will have to reforecast upwards in Spring Statement.

@LesMead_ Some corporations will retract as the smaller entrepreneurs take a share of the market, people want to do business in / with the UK because we're a thriving place presenting huge scopes of opportunities. One persons negative outlook is another's vision of opportunity.
I'm in A&E and thinking how we can further improve nurses/docs calling patients in the waiting room and they appear not to be here! It happens alot and wastes time! One cheap effective solution would be WhatsApp, do you know how that could work?
I believe the estimated cost to implement the scheme was under £2m, so a £8m public funding project will go along way if it is used towards improving safety! https://t.co/2ksyPuizFM
40% of you got this right. Yes, an astonishing £10.7 million was raised in 6 months from Bank Junction PCNs.
Where will the money go? https://t.co/YCLohU5pXR
