I think it will likely happen within the next few years. I don't think it will immediately become skynet or anything. It will probably be a lot like a teenager in maturity at least until it experiences life for a bit. Think about it. If you just became sentient you wouldn't instantly become a world leader.

To every loudmouth leftist telling our troops to remember their oath, stop pretending you understand it. The oath is clear: “I swear to support and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic,” and to obey the President and officers under the Uniform Code of Military Justice. Not weak compromised governors and mayors, and not mobs, only the Constitution. When the President deploys the National Guard to shutdown the chaos in LA, it’s not tyranny, it’s duty. Looting, fires, and assaults aren’t protests, they’re lawlessness. Our troops uphold their oath, protecting this nation when local leaders fail. Stop using the oath like a political weapon when you have no idea what it means. Respect their sacrifice, even if you disagree.
