I'm so embarrassed that some Zanu-PF comrades are more concerned about who will be the president until 2030 when we have the highest inflation and unemployment rate in Africa, 20 hrs power blackouts and dead hospitals. Has power become more important than the lives of the people?

He is kindly appealing to the public and corporations to join hands with him in saving the lives of his people.

I was first introduced to the works of Prof. Yuval Noah Harari by the late Dr. Alex Magaisa, who gave me Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind as a gift.
Yesterday, while browsing Twitter, I saw Harari’s new book, Nexus: The History of Networks and Algorithms on Dr. Keith Silika’s timeline.
I ordered it last night and received it on my doorstep this morning.
The book explores the history of information networks and the challenges of navigating a world shaped by algorithms and Artificial Intelligence.
Harari’s works are known for their ambitious scope, provocative ideas, and engaging writing style.
I look forward to reading this one, as AI is now central to many things happening around us.
However, I feel that, as with many important advancements, Africans are lagging behind in its usage.
I encourage all Zimbabwean journalists to read this book, along with Harari’s previous works, if they haven’t already.
It is an excellent way to stimulate critical thinking and raise awareness about important issues affecting our world with our readership and followers.
Reading Harari is like riding in a Jaguar XJ on a Sunday afternoon on the way to a lunch date with someone you are meeting for the first time, you know that it will be refreshing, energising, but also unpredictable!
Every page brings a new experience of superior knowledge and understanding.
Let me know what you think of this one if you have read it already since it came out in September.
Let us embrace reading, it helps us to understand issues and to cure ignorance!
Today, Zimbabwe has over 70 political prisoners, including opposition leader and former cabinet minister Jameson Timba, and political and anti-corruption activist Jacob Ngarivhume.
They are accused of crimes they did not commit.
Timba and the 65 others who were arrested at his home have been in jail for 106 days.
Jacob Ngarivhume was arrested on the eve of the SADC summit for supposedly planning with Timba, yet the two men have never met.
His real crime is fighting against corruption, particularly his 2020 threat to mobilise citizens to march against it.
Zimbabwe’s corrupt tyrant, Emmerson Mnangagwa, has never forgiven him for that.
Let us keep these political prisoners in our political discourse, they are in jail for fighting for us and for our rights.
Keeping quiet about these men and women makes the corrupt Zimbabwean tyrant comfortable and happy!
Social media got a lot of women thinking a man doesn't love you if he can't buy cars, designer bags, multi-million dollar homes, trips out of the country, luxury dining experiences, etc
Many women are so out of touch with reality with unrealistic relationship goals. Just because your man's efforts aren't Instagramable doesn't mean he doesn't love you
Learn OR perish!!!
Big news coming out of the USA this morning: Zimbabwe’s Learnmore Jonasi has become the first Zimbabwean to reach the final of the iconic Americas Got Talent.
