This is a great post and article. I believe it is extremely important for our students to stay in person in the class. If they are not in person, they are being hindered from basic life skills.

Read aloud's are known to lack rigor. However, there is a powerful meaning in literacy. Read aloud's can be incorporated with more than the ELA curriculum.

Holly, great post! I struggle with mental health. I also like that students are being trained to identify signs of mental illness. This could help save a lot of lives. It is hard to identify when you need to seek help.

These steps are known as ASC and are very beneficial management strategies.

Lauren, I agree that too much homework can be damaging and not beneficial. Giving students too much work can make them unmotivated.
