This baloney about “80km/hr is a max and cars should drive slower when appropriate” is just an irresponsible and confusing message from Cork Co co.

Ditto what @Samtm023 said. Our group has been asking for a reduction of speed on this road for years. Though we understand there are plans started to make it safer these are a long way off and not guaranteed. Lowering speed is an inexpensive & simple solution in the meantime.

How is this a valid reason NOT to reduce speed limits, especially on roads leading to and from a touristy beauty area with no footpath and lots of walkers and cyclists?
