@DNLPlantEquip Hope he is all well but please make sure they test him for TB before releasing him back into the countryside. But a badger about in daylight is not a good sign.
@MaisonGladys In Scotland, since 2015, it's a legal requirement that all new homes must have energy efficient measures ~80% have PV - like our new TaylorWimpey home in Ayrshire.
Rest of the UK requires similar legislation. Not perfect as more panels & batteries needed - but it is a start.
@dailybritainonx Solar & wind IS cheap energy - electricity they produce is artificially inflated by linking their unit price to those generated by fossil fuels.
@LordBalthazar85 Yes a complex equation.
Just highlighting that the supermarkets' business model is based on tax payers subsidising wages. For me that is morally questionable.
If we had a true free market economy, the supermarkets wouldn't have the billions in profit as they would have to pay their employees a livable wage without the UK tax payers having to make up the difference universal credit.

@rushicrypto Confirmed:
Usable output of the Sun reaching the Earth's surface ~1000W/m2 which equates to ~1.27e17W constantly irradiating the Earth.
Current world power consumption ~1TW
Available solar power is ~12,700x more than we use.
Note:
Watt (power) = energy/second
@piersmorgan No, it will just push the yobs in the right wing media to intensify their efforts in ousting a democratically elected government that they don't like.
