@UncleFunkbeard Sometimes the thing I want to say is so specific that it doesn't fit with a chorus. A chorus would feel forced into the lyrics if that makes sense.

It occurred to me that in 3 years of releasing music,I think I've only written one song that has an actual chorus: "Just Go Ask Alice."

Question for my indie musician friends: do you write choruses? Why or why not? If you do, what's your process?
