@Prehistory@MetCycleCops As a slight aside, the more safety measures in place to prevent thermal runaway the better, of course. Also, even better if the owners have appropriate storage or fire extinguishers in place.
@Prehistory@MetCycleCops But at the end of the day any lithium-ion battery is capable of thermal runaway. I agree with you on both points tbh - I just personally don’t see them as justification for a ban.
@Prehistory@MetCycleCops Wholeheartedly agree with you - I get really upset anytime I see anyone that should be on the road on the pavement. As for the fire hazard aspect I don’t really know what to say, I think from the sounds of things there’s definitely some quality control issues knocking about.
