@FollowingHimTDL@9Sling@McJuggerNuggets I'm not saying they don't love their son. I'm sure they do. But bringing a child into existence while knowing they’ll face significant suffering and challenges is not always the right choice. Especially if the parents have certain circumstances that make them unsuitable
@FollowingHimTDL@9Sling@McJuggerNuggets The comparison is wild but I’ll bite. One is a fetus and the other is an already born child. Aborting a fetus and killing an already born child are not morally equivalent acts. If you hate abortion so much, just make it illegal (but it won’t happen since this topic is debatable)
@FollowingHimTDL@9Sling@McJuggerNuggets You’re acting as if letting them live is a powerful and brave choice when the reality is that most people aren’t equipped to deal with these hardships. That’s why I’m glad that abortion exists, so women have that choice and can avoid ruining a life
@FollowingHimTDL@9Sling@McJuggerNuggets “You’ve contradicted your first sentence”. I didn’t contradict myself because I was being SARCASTIC. I guess sarcasm doesn’t translate very well on Twitter, my bad. I should’ve added quote marks or this emoji “🙄”, to make it obvious.
@FollowingHimTDL@9Sling@McJuggerNuggets Yet you’re acting as if aborting a child can’t be an act of love as well when the father was thinking about the child’s harsh future. You want people to deal with unnecessary hardships just cause of your Religious virtues!?
@FollowingHimTDL@9Sling@McJuggerNuggets But still not everyone wants that type of burden. Life is already hard as it is, imagine how hard it could be for the child. Let’s be honest you’re not going to wish this “blessing” disability on anyone since you clearly know the reality. Tired of people treating DS like Autism
@FollowingHimTDL@9Sling@McJuggerNuggets Sure, and advocating for people to keep Down Syndrome babies is definitely a good thing. Let’s put emotions aside, logically speaking, why would someone want to keep a DS baby other than to virtue signal and feel good about themselves.
@juan_mendo11838@samsan_08 I felt kinda disappointed with JJK’s ending, but at least I felt something, like there was some meaning to it. While with Chainsaw Man’s ending, I wasn’t mad or disappointed, I just felt nothing. Literally all my investment in the series just disappeared
@juan_mendo11838@samsan_08 JJK was rushed but it’s journey never felt pointless, Yuji grew as a character by the end and several character arcs were concluded in extra pages. Unlike Chainsaw Man where the journey, felt pointless and we get a shallow happy ending that did NOTHING to earn it. 0 extra pages
