Everyone at Partick Thistle was devastated to learn of the passing of Honorary President, Associate Director and Club Historian, Robert Reid.

Robert was a proud supporter of Partick Thistle for well over 70 years but also served the club in a variety of official capacities making a contribution which is hard to quantify.

Everyone at the club who had the privilege to know Robert and work alongside him will miss him terribly and the thoughts of everyone at Partick Thistle are with his friends and family.

The club will communicate in due course once plans for celebrating Robert’s life have been confirmed.
