@Tsosuwa @ChainFeeds@KEEMSTAR Could you explain, with any real logic why he would let the guy get closer to stab him just so it looks mininally better for DA to say it self defense when he already has the facts he’s recording running away, and telling the guy to drop his weapon he is following with
@Tsosuwa @ChainFeeds@KEEMSTAR It’s not in this thread, I responded to your tweet saying he shouldn’t have shot him 30 feet sways, from what I’ve read now that you have responded to in other responses, what I’m stating is still correct.
@Tsosuwa @ChainFeeds@KEEMSTAR It also makes no logical sense to wait for a person who is threatening you while you run away from them to get close enough to harm you to then defend yourself.
@Tsosuwa @ChainFeeds@KEEMSTAR In none of the tweets I am responding to have you mentioned anything about state by state laws but again in the vast majority of states if someone is threatening you and poses possible risk of causing you bodily harm you are allowed to defend yourself.
@Tsosuwa @ChainFeeds@KEEMSTAR My point is that he is still acting in self defense in this situation because the guy with knife is still continuing to follow him and is still threatening him.
@Tsosuwa @ChainFeeds@KEEMSTAR He is literally running away to keep a safe distance incase he misses and has to potentially reload, he gives him multiple warning not to keep following him with a knife, he doesn’t need to wait for the guy to be close enough to stab for him to act in defense.
"There was a stretch where Giannis was trying to get me to go to Milwaukee, and I was like, 'No, you come to Portland!'... Pat Connaughton was my rookie in Portland. After he signed here, he was the middleman."

“It’s great to have [Bronny] here… Obviously, we know what happened this summer… Yesterday was the first time I’d seen him in 2 weeks. But that’s okay, and I understand that. The boy is 19 years old.”

Abandoned bank vault in Gary, Indiana.
Gary is one of the most abandoned cities in the U.S., yet is perhaps most famous for being the hometown of the Jackson 5.
The city came to prosperity in the early 1900s, seeing rapid growth due to the United States Steel Corporation building its largest steel plant in the city, Gary Works.
It had a successful and diverse population all the way until the 1960s. From the 1960s though, Gary followed the fate of the so-called Rust Belt. Growing overseas competitiveness in the steel industry caused U.S. Steel to lay off many workers from the Gary area. As the city declined, crime increased while more and more buildings were abandoned.
Today, it is estimated that one-third of all homes in Gary are unoccupied and/or abandoned. Less than 80,000 people live in the city today, 55% less compared to 1960. The city faces large levels of unemployment, decaying infrastructure, and low literacy and educational attainment levels.
Country star Luke Combs says his first favourite song was Tracy Chapman’s “Fast Car”.
He covered it earlier this year and the song hit #1 on country charts in July.
Chapman owns the song’s composition rights and became the first black female to top Country chart as a sole writer.
What did she think of the cover?
Chapman told Billboard: “I never expected to find myself on the country charts, but I’m honored to be there. I’m happy for Luke….and grateful that new fans have found and embraced ‘Fast Car.’”
Combs honored the original version, which he first listened to when his dad popped a cassette in the car.
“You want to just be mega respectful of the original song,” says the 33-year old country singer, per CMT. “That’s why in [my cover], it’s, ‘work in the market as a checkout girl.’ I didn’t change that…I really wanted to just do the original version of the song.”
I had Chapman’s CD and “Fast Car” was an absolute road-trip staple.
Here is a clip of the artists each performing the song live — 35 years apart:
