@thechosenberg Sonnet is more than good enough for guided use with a developer and good prompts and skills.
Haiku though is kinda funny. It can do some things decent enough but idk about a main driver.
@Sargon_of_Akkad Company that owns the parking lot will charge the company wanting to do this. Makes it less profitable that just a random field outside of the city.
You also then risk damage, theft, and vandalism. Also the height of some vehicles such as campers and semis make it a pain.
@Quimble5@GPrime85 Sounds like beef you should have with your Governments then.
Unsure why you guys tolerate those kinds of draconian restrictions in the first place
@saoliath@RoseSilicon Yeah that's why we don't have Nuclear energy even though it's the cleanest and cheapest energy available. Would do wonders for humanity.
Really hope the Government forces these retards to grow the fuck up.
@DaedricEtwahl@IA5156@Ryanseptus@RoseSilicon Yes... it will. Just like coal engines, cars, trucks, planes, factories, computers, and the internet has made things vastly cheaper and more accessible lmao.
@DaedricEtwahl@IA5156@Ryanseptus@RoseSilicon Yes because games are a monopoly and no one else in the world can make games.
The Western game devs and their bloated budgets are doing just great and not having layoffs and canceled games right now. You're right dawg.
@IA5156@Ryanseptus@RoseSilicon Brother it's not up to the executives. If you don't understand how economics in a free market works that's fine I don't know what to tell you.
@IA5156@Ryanseptus@RoseSilicon It's because costs are already crazy high. Games are super expensive right now on top of being super risky.
The competition is also as fierce as it's ever been from smaller studios and indie developers, and AI will drive that competition for time up and prices down as well.
@RoseSilicon@IA5156@Ryanseptus Yes, for brief period of time. And kids have always worked, factories weren't unique lol.
And yes. As time advanced standards improved, the technology became more developed, and quality of life went up. Thanks for agreeing. AI will follow a similar trajectory.
@IA5156@Ryanseptus@RoseSilicon They will have to when the industry does as costs get cheaper.
We are already seeing this with a resurgence of AA games and hit games being indie titles well under $60. The competition for them RN is at an all time high which is why they are struggling as is.
@RoseSilicon@IA5156@Ryanseptus I mean that's literally your argument. It's irrational fear with no historical data to back it up based on any of the countless technological revolutions and innovations in human history.
@IA5156@Ryanseptus@RoseSilicon It's not just "a" company. It's an industry including indie developers. Whatever company you're thinking of, they aren't the only ones allowed to make games.
Such an absurd comment lol.
@IA5156@Ryanseptus@RoseSilicon At least we know the people who were scared of coal engines, the printing press, industrial revolution, and the computer are still around.
Humans never change I guess
@IA5156@Ryanseptus@RoseSilicon Why do you think lowering the cost for production doesn't mean it'll lower prices of the product.
When in history has that ever been the case outside of ultra luxury items or monopolies, neither of which the gaming industry is.
@Ryanseptus@RoseSilicon It's not really the same thing at all.
It would be more equivalent to ask if it was prepared by a human or a robot chef. Imo it wouldn't matter as long as the steak was quality and cooked right.
But weirdos would screech because progress is bad.
