A breakthrough is a sudden burst of God’s favor. It’s a flood of His goodness that thrusts you ahead. For where God is taking you, the dreams He’s put in your heart, the giants that will be in your path, it’s not going to all be gradual, little by little, a process that you can see. He has some of these breakthrough moments that you can’t explain, that will catapult you into your destiny.
You have to give yourself permission to rest. This takes all the pressure off. God’s in control. You keep honoring Him, being your best and God will take care of those weeds. He’ll open the right doors.
Proverbs says, “Don’t say I’ll get even for the wrong; wait for the Lord to handle the matter.” If you’ll wait, God will vindicate you better than you can vindicate yourself. His solution is better than your solution. Hold your peace. Remain at rest. You may not see anything happening, but God is up to something.
God is counting on you to tap into His favor, to see the surpassing greatness of His power. That takes bold prayers; that takes people who will take the limits off of God, people who won’t be moved by how impossible their dream looks.
We don’t know what God is up to. God doesn’t send the storm, but He doesn’t waste anything. He wouldn’t have allowed it if it wasn’t going to work to your advantage. Sometimes it’s not the enemy; it’s God orchestrating things we don’t like to move us into our purpose, to prepare us for what we’re going to need later.

It will not be overnight. It will take time. Sometimes it will hurt. But if you stick with it, you can also be free from all those things that are a problem for you. #JoyceQuote
Get a new perspective. You’re not limited by who raised you. You’re not at a disadvantage. You are about to see the greatness in you come out. Get ready, you’re about to defy the odds.
You can have many disappointments, many adversities, many delays, but don’t worry, what God has purposed will prevail. What He assigned you to accomplish cannot be overridden. It will come to pass.

Jesus says about His words, “The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life” (John 6:63). Solomon says our words have “the power of life and death” (Proverbs 18:21). And James wrote that our words can be a source of “blessing and cursing” (James 3:10). Our words can direct the course of our life for victory or defeat.
On the way to your purpose, there will be divine delays, divine detours. The route may not be what you expected, but you’re still going to get to the destination He has for you. Maybe people do you wrong. Setbacks that weren’t your fault. It’s not catching God off guard. He knows everything. It’s positioning you for greater things.
You first have to learn who you are in Christ, that you've been made right with Him, then you can have peace with God, and peace with yourself, and when you have that, then you can have joy. #JoyceQuote
It takes faith to leave it alone. When you take your hands off and you let God take care of it, that’s not a lack of faith; that’s great faith. When you can say, “God, I trust You with my weeds. I trust You with things I don’t understand. I’m not going to get in a hurry and try to fix things that will damage my harvest. I’m going to leave it alone.” That’s a powerful position.
God’s hand is outstretched toward you. It’s a hand of healing, a hand of provision, a hand of favor. You didn’t miss it. Mistakes didn’t cancel it. Bad breaks didn’t override it. Trouble didn’t stop it. The trouble positioned you. God is ordering your steps. His calling on your life has not changed.
Your life is in the hands of Almighty God. Nothing can snatch you away. He determines your beginning, when you would be born, and He determines when you’ll come home—not the sickness, not the trouble, not the enemy. Your life is in God’s hands. His purpose will prevail.
Too often, we put these conditions on God and conditions on our prayers. “God, I’ll be happy if my boss moves to the back side of Mars. When you get him out of my life, then I’ll have a good attitude.” Have you ever thought that God is using that person to do a work in you, to develop your character, to teach you to love those who are not very lovable? Instead of saying, “God, get me out of this situation.” Pray, “God, come into this situation. Help me to have a good attitude, help me to do the right thing when the wrong thing is happening.”
