Check out this months Greenkeeper international issue. Greg and myself (Callum) are both proud and honoured to be involved in the final. We are the first dual finalists from the same Golf Club to reach the Young Student Greenkeeper finals.
Semi-finals and finals day today in the @LothiansGolf tournament and the course is looking beautiful, hard work and early mornings starting to pay off ๐ Once again good luck to @CraigDa67549393!
Another day another hand cut, legs are really starting to hate me. Iโm glad you cropped the video @CraigJHempseed , the cheers and celebration lap was rather embarrassing ๐
Another hand cut on the greens this morning for tonightโs championship semi-finals. The greens are running lovely, even with the poa seeds still present.
Iโd be lying if I said we done this in one go, but @ClubMortonhall got there in the end ๐๐
Delighted to get back behind one of these todayโs. Itโs been far too long, although Iโll pay for it later!
@ClubMortonhall doing a grand job alongside me. ๐
Tasked with the job to build a more sustainable bench design going forward instead of the sleeper legs that need replaced every couple of years. The gabion basket build, using onsite rock looking sweet
Satisfying day helping @ClubMortonhall with their construction project at the local park and nature reserve. Great to help our community with drainage improvements, flower bed build and pathway install.
Unbelievable work ethic and enthusiasm shown by this pair whatever they do.
Weโve managed to finish the wall renovation at the 4th, just some turfing to be done! (The older photo of the 1st showing the walls in their former glory)
After a burst in our irrigation pipe running up the side of the fourth fairway, we were given the task to locate the leak in the pipe, expose it for the pipe to be repaired and then back fill the hole. All in all completed in just under a day.
Great job done clearing up the side of the sheds, allowing for some saplings to be planted as well as room for the planting of a wild flower cultivar. Perfect opportunity to build on our skill sets with some 360 digger training.
Continuing with our new french drain, starting with a base layer of drainage gravel keeping a downward gradient ensuring the flow of water to the sump, topped with root zone firmed, shaped and blended.
